JKrome 05-28-2008 01:36 AM

Nice... im still not a big neon fan.. but... you get those bastards to go real fast with the right work..

ChrisGst99 05-28-2008 07:53 AM

yea im about to order fmic agp wastegate and boost controller and chill for a lil

DC Hunny5 05-28-2008 02:49 PM

i'd be careful with united. i heard that they are really shady. Not only with financing but with the actual cars

OMGz Turbo 05-28-2008 02:55 PM

Welcome to the family. LOL

few good websites are:
turboneonstore.com
modernperformance.com
jcspeed.com

and srtforums is your friend, plenty of how to's

SECOND THOUGH:
Have another mechanic look over the car, Being it was previously modded there might be a reason it was traded in. And it might be a little expensive being it only has the sunroof and not the kicker system...either way the car may have been beat on because they aernt the stock tires.

kevin@dambrosio 05-28-2008 03:32 PM

are you insane??? I have a black 05 srt4 with 35K miles bone stock that I can sell you WAY!! less then $18,000. seriously! they are awsome cars in a straight line and with slicks on them.

Kevin 05-28-2008 03:33 PM

I don't like it.

05suby 05-28-2008 03:36 PM

damn isnt that expensive for a used srt4, especially if it was modded like OMGz Turbo said?

kevin@dambrosio 05-28-2008 03:50 PM

if you havent bought it yet, do yourself a favor and give me a call. mine is BONE stock. never abused. and I know the history on the car.

OMGz Turbo 05-28-2008 03:51 PM

They aernt only awesome in straight lines with minor suspension work...They can autocross like crazy. My 04 has 48k on it with 10k on the motor...so they can usually take a beaten

kevin@dambrosio 05-28-2008 04:01 PM

true. one of my friends had a 03 with 76K miles. bone stock motor with a 50trim kit and over 100 passes and countless street races and the engine never gave any issues.

peteyturbo 05-28-2008 04:29 PM

Depends on ALOT of things. 03's were cheaper then 04-05 because of the LSD. Also could be a ACR...could have the kicker living loud package...could have the sunroof...

sean3 05-28-2008 05:27 PM

Those aren't ACR wheels... And even with the living loud and sun roof that's still an absurd price. When I was looking to get an SRT4 I found an 05 with slightly higher miles for 14.2k at a dealer.

I was going to check out a GTO at that place but I noticed their email was from a comcast.net address and I found two different URLs for their website along with a different email address. Seemed pretty shady overall.

I never said it was a ACR, someone posted about them being 20k brand new...which isnt true little higher. But now everyone thinks they can assrape the price because of them being discountinued

Vypurr 05-28-2008 06:44 PM

Yeah, a fair price for that car is 16-17k. And the first sign that it was modded is that antenna. People who keep them stock NEVER touch the antenna. That is only after you have done some mods and need a cleaner look.

kevin@dambrosio 05-28-2008 07:07 PM

mine has the stock antanna :)

ozthunder 05-29-2008 01:35 AM

Yea man absolutely. When's that? PM me dawg.

ChrisGst99 05-29-2008 02:55 PM

how can you tell what stage it is? i see the pcm and it says mopar on it and the injectors has a little blue ring around them? idk

Vypurr 05-29-2008 02:59 PM

Since its a 2005, the only thing involved in a stage 1 is the PCM. The 2004-2005 have the stage 1 injectors from the factory. There may be a part # on the PCM that says stage 1 if it were though?

ChrisGst99 05-29-2008 03:01 PM

i looked all over the pcm and it didnt say any stage

OMGz Turbo 05-29-2008 06:17 PM

Stock PCM. All staged PCM Say what they are.

OMGz Turbo 05-29-2008 06:22 PM

Took this from SRTForums look at it...it says it right where it should be lol

ChrisGst99 05-30-2008 08:05 AM

OMGz Turbo you are the man thanks alot. whats should i get fmic or agp wastegate?

Vypurr 05-30-2008 11:29 AM

WGA for sure. FMIC will not do a lot to a stock car. Boost controller and wga will do the most for you.

ChrisGst99 05-30-2008 04:31 PM

ok im ordering one tonight thanks for the info. today i spanked a 06 wrx with bolt ons and excess port or what ever it called

Chair-Force 05-31-2008 03:39 PM

you bought it for that price?
wtf mate

99% of wrx owners cant drive worth a shat and not to mention the wrx is slow stock.

OMGz Turbo 06-02-2008 06:21 AM

NP, good luck with it

DJ919 06-23-2008 05:58 PM
