what in the **** is a vento? is that slang for jetta or somethin? either way, nice ass ride

vento is the german equivalent of a jetta, my car is imported from germany, its is a 2.9L instead of the american 2.8L vrs

ah interesting. any other differences besides the motor?

almost everything exterior, bumpers, headlights, grill, side moldings, lips, and a few interior differences

thats pretty cool. did you import it yourself or did you buy it from someone that had it imported? now that i look at it again, i can see minor differences. my sister had a '95 vr6 so that helps with the comparison

I've always considered the Vento = MK3 Jetta and Bora = MK4 Jetta

it is a vento, those arent just any euro bumpers the are oem vento bumpers, it has a vento lip,

i also have the vento vin dash plate, id show engine shots but it looks the exact same as a 2.8L

yes the bora is a mk4, vento mk3, neither of which were ever produced as coupes from vw, there are a few that were home made from the ass end of a gti
