Just turn it on NOW. Come on?!?!? Figure 8 racing. Seriously, across the globe right now there are some seriously competitive amateur racing going on that will be just as entertaining.

Amateur Racing FTW. No offense to rednecks and figure 8 racing, it looks like fun. But lets see some series speed from some serious privateers!

I mean, same thing with ESPN in the afternoon, sometimes they have some wacky racing going on.

its not that they are "scared" its that it takes alot of money to make an import as fast as it takes a little money to make a domestic fast...people dont want to loose 20K cars...they want to be on tv and race a mustang they dumped 5K into and is running 10's..its not cuz they are scared..its cuz it costs alot of money to make an import into the 10's

Over the past year or two Speed Channel has gotten better with their programming. There was a time that you were almost guaranteed to get some sort of NASCAR programming if you turned it on at any given time. I have noticed more road racing events (Mazda series, etc).

I hope you are joking. Look up "Hack jobs" in the dictionary and you will see Unique Autosports' logo.

i've only seen it a few times so i'm not gunna say its not but i still find it interesting.

Actually Remy Does some nice work, The owner is just a ****y arrogant guy from NY who thinks b/c he was poor when he was little can call the shots and bring in all these high dollar people when he doesn't do a damn thing but bark orders and act like an asshole...I'd kill to be him though, He's loaded and gets some big names in his shop...so he must be doing something right eh? The cars they do for the most part are very clean and subtle, But theres not much "Unique" about them...To say they do Hack jobs is an ignorant statement. I dont see you working on Lambo's or Ferrari's making a living out of it do I??

What happened to WRC? I haven't seen that in awhile.

If I remember correctly, SPEED didn't renew its contract with WRC. Prolly has alot to do with NASCAR basicly owning the SPEED channel.

No more WRC on speed. I think you can catch it on OLN every once in a while.

Yea..the NASCAR oppression of other forms of racing suxors. Pinks was cool for a bit, now I just watch to see people fight. Sorta likeJerry Springer, just with fox bodies.

The only shows I tend to watch are the Top Gear shows I download/torrent and Hard Shine. I don't know why I watch Hard Shine, so don't ask lol

Only shows I watch on speed are F1, drifting, and rallying if it's on. Sometimes I'll watch Unique Whips if I get bored. Besides that pinks and nascar is miserable. Which seems to be the only thing on when I turn it on.

Back when I worked at Circuit I would flip Speed on Monday mornings and watch the MotoGP replays. Best 3 hours of my week.

That is exactly why Speed sucks. If you are not into ricer show cars, skanky half naked Asian chicks, or drifting, there is not really anything for you on Speed, which is a ****ing shame because I think there would be quite a market for Spec Miata, rally races, and a whole lot of other **** that never gets covered.

Guess what I did this morning...

i say bring on rally again. Really am tired of turning it on and seeing NASCAR, Pinks, or UW.. Fine Tuned had some serious potential but it just comes off feeling like a pimp my ride without the pimp if ya get what i am saying.

What i really think they should have done with fine tuned is do something more along the lines of sitting the person down and really letting them have some input into the car, bring in some "experts" to help guide the way.

well considering the hispanic guy with the supra believed it was tt when he bought it, i doubt he would really have a logical opinion on what would make the car look good

The difference between the girls on Speed and the girls who hang out rest stops offering $5 blow jobs to truckers are minimal. (BTW, they are called lot lizards)
