There isn't really a discussion.

If you believe that's "right" or "proper"...

...Kill yourself.

i agree

Don't be so quick to throw all religious people into the same catergory. There are plenty of nutcases out there, some religious, some not. It's not their religious beliefs that made them that way.

You are right. Its the fact that their whole lives they have been told to believe a set of stories, instead of scientific fact that is all around them...they just choose to block it out. Whenever I talk to religious people, its like I talk to a telemarketer...they always try to sell me their BS.

you're talking to the wrong ones, in fact you're clearly guilty of the same thing considering the personal bias you've let loose in this post

Well obviously, all of the ones ive talked to were the wrong ones...i havent met a single right one. Its just kinda annoying that these people dont want to even try to understand scientific theory...I am open ears to any discussions, arguments, and opinions, but when I worked at a church, and every day my boss who was a biblical nut tried telling me that Judaism and science were wrong, and that I should be a christian because thats the true faith and god is the answer, it kinda got annoying.

Sincere 03-19-2007 09:41 AM

You don't have to believe what i believe or anything for that matter i would never try and make you. You just cant go around bad mouthing others beliefs. There are crazy ppl of all kinds out there.

Snoozie 03-19-2007 10:53 AM

Wow, how can you say that just because someone believes in a 'higher power' and not scientific theories that they are wrong? That is so close-minded and degrading. How dare YOU judge someone for their beliefs, whether right or wrong in your opinion. Personally I am atheist but, I would never say that a religious person was wrong being so. :furious: Do us a favor and keep your mouth shut.
