Are you guys kidding? It isn't that big of a deal that he's gone...he is very injury prone..his attitude sucks balls and think about it he only caught 35 passes. Brown, baskek, johnson and crew can handle themselves

rebuilding what??? they don't need rebuilding years, they are a solid team now. I don't know why you keep saying rebuilding years. They're not going to waste 2-3 years at Donovan's age, now. cmon.

yeah, but the problem is.. your veteran leader is now Reggie Brown, and hes in his 3rd year. The eagles wide receiver crew is young, they really need a wiser veteran guy in there.

Ronin Tactical 03-12-2007 01:52 PM

The Eagles have made some insane moves this year - it's not like they could have kept Garcia, but didn't even give him a public "thank you" for salvaging a completely lost season. That was just rude, and lost the organization a lot of respect in the league.

What do you expect, though, from a team that hasn't won a league championship for 47 years? Not like they have a steady legacy of great decisions, plus there's the "fans".....who bring negativity onto the city like the Wrath of God.

zerioustt 03-12-2007 01:57 PM

Agreed, I don't think after what Andy Reid went through with his kids, that he wanted a pot smoker on his team.

Ronin Tactical 03-12-2007 02:03 PM

I wonder what will come of that in the larger picture....sure, the kids were "grown", but they were also living at home...back in the day, a coach or teacher would have lost his job, simply from the thought that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, and if the guy can't properly supervise his own family, how can he supervise 52 pro players?

Nors 03-12-2007 02:38 PM

I'm also still waiting to see what pans out from his sons' situation.

I dont think anyting.. you probably wont hear much on the news about them any more. andy reid will be the coach, and they'll be fine. but seriously, you know when andy heard that he failed the test, he had to of said i dont want him back, and i garuntee that stems from what happened to his kids.

Philadelphia: Where we have been 'rebuilding' our sports teams since '84

resisTm3 03-13-2007 11:40 PM

it was a good move regardless of how good stallworth is.

twistedlanes 03-14-2007 12:08 AM

Whos is our quarterback now anyway?

Ronin Tactical 03-14-2007 12:37 AM

YOUR quarterback is McNabb, backed up by Feeley. Mine is Romo, backed up by Brad Johnson.

I'm from Texas, borned and raised, what did you expect? Should I move here after being a Dallas fan for 37 of my now 43 years, and convert to the Eagles, following a team that's never won a Superbowl, align with fans who like to beat people up, set buses on fire, and throw D-cell batteries at people? And snowballs at Santa Claus?

No, thanks.

No, thanks.

You forgot their most endearing trait, swearing at children in opposing teams colors.

Ronin Tactical 03-14-2007 09:25 AM

Right. Sorry.

Or calling an older lady a F&*(ing CU&* because she was wearing a Pittsburgh jersey. Real class right there. But it's for the team, right? I can act like a complete moron, since it's for the team, right?

Yes.

You forgot cheer when Irvin broke his neck.

BTW, all philly fans don't act like that.

P.S. - Dallas sucks.

Ronin Tactical 03-14-2007 11:32 AM

Heard that before, don't care...

And yes, cheered when Irving nearly died from an on-field injury. I didn't even like Irvin (dislike T.O. MUCH more..), but wouldn't cheer for him getting hurt.

yeah... i dont like irvin either, but i dont agree with cheering for his injury... that's messed up. philly fans are just a different breed of human beings.. they only seem to care about the sports team winning, and thats it.

im not like that though, ill love my philly teams even on off-years.. like the flyers/sixers are having. TO is just a drama king... he needs to go to canadian football, and never come back.

my thoughts exactly! Mcnabb is no longer reliable, I still love him *no ***** but when is the last time he finished a season without something being wrong with him? and Feely I don't even wanna get started with him. Dallas is supposed to be the team we hate and all but I don't really care, I don't like their uniforms but I could care less about the rivalry we have with them. I like the sport, so the team is a team i would watch just cuz of that.

P.S. ROmo is the S**T

PhillyLS1 03-15-2007 04:01 AM

Somebody in this thread needs to change thier tampon. If you don't like the Eagles don't follow them. If you don't like the fans stay the fk home. Complaining about Philly fans is beating a dead horse, it's like complaining, bitching and moaning about street racing..... oh, wait.

Ronin Tactical 03-15-2007 11:25 AM

I just think it's funny that you guys (Eagle's fans) think it's OK to break the law in the name of being a fan. Nowhere else in the nation is that acceptable.

That's some seriously screwed up mentality going on.

To top it off, that mentality is used concerning a team that hasn't won a championship in 47 years, since before the NFL existed in its current state, and the team is consistently filled with turmoil and trouble.

You reap what you sow, I guess.

twistedlanes 03-15-2007 11:27 AM

you changed your SN oh well you know my thoughts on the whole thing

Crying? Hardly. Being disgusted, perhaps.

And Falloutboy sucks.
