Julie's Cars...Past & Present...

...No Subarus were harmed in the making of this....only DSMs.

I got my 1st car in mid 2000 at 16. 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX in that purple gray color. Didnt do much of anything to it, in those days, GSX's were one of the fastest cars for the money, BUT in Oct/Nov of 2001, it died. Well, Matthew drove it into a tree. It was a victim of a Honda Ricer Fly-by, my GSX may have won the race, but the tree soon got the best of him...I don't have any before pictures, but here is the aftermath...(Don't worry, Matthew only had one TINY TEENY TINY airbag burn on his arm, and that is all)....

Then, in the same month(with the insurance check), I got a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX in Monarch Green Pearl, and no, i didnt kill Matthew, as most people know, we will be married soon:P

I put Koenig rims on it, an exhuast, intake, SAFC, & VIS carbon fiber hood. I mixed in some rice, before it was called rice, by having one windshield wiper, vinyl, buddy club rear bumper and blitz front and side skirts, and shogun wing. This was also the first time me and matt had semi matching cars. At this point he had a green Acura Integra GSR. We had matching "exhuasted" car club window banner vinyl & carbon fiber hoods. I apologize for the crappy picture, this was before EVERYONE had a digital camera

In maybe, Summer of 2002, Matthew and I went down to Philly to "get gas" and a crazy taxi t-boned us. I dont have pics of the car, but lets just say i was climbing out the passenger door for a good amount of time. Then we moved to the RacquetClub(sp?) apartments in May 2003 and my car was broken into twice. That pissed me off and weirded me out to the point that I wanted to get rid of the car, so i traded that in for the car we all know and love, My 2002 Subura WRX.

I THINK the first thing i did was get my SSR comps and Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood.
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y25...7/DSC00375.jpg
Then Injen cold air intake, which we modified into a short ram, Injen exhuast & downpipe, Perrin front & rear sway bars, carbon fiber trunk, and my neato headlights(Thanks The Mike!)

Then, whenever Matthew got a new part, i got his old stuff. So then came the APS BOV and STi intercooler. And then I put on Perrin TunerSport Springs & Wings West body kit....And that reminds me, I don't have nay recent pics of my car, i will tho, soon enough. ANYway, I got the body kit and threw it on since it was black, so yes, it is unpainted, but it goes well with the look of the car.
My goal WAS to paint it pink, BUT then Matthew's turbo and motor went BOOM, so fixing that became priority and now there is no money for a pink car:( But **** happens so, when Matthews car is fixed and funds begin to build again, who knows what will happen next. So stayed tuned for more pics and the continuing drama that happens at M&J Modified.

Ouch with that first DSM. WRX is looking pretty nice, though im not a fan of CF on the Subaru's for some reason.

CarbonIS 03-05-2007 07:03 PM

M&J Modified should make a come back this spring....

WrxJC 03-05-2007 07:12 PM
