http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7519
best i can do is about 7'08.xx time to beat is 6'53.695. can you break it? |
Now I'm gonna have to try that tonight lol
|
pffft. srt4 and the ring just dont go together. why couldnt they pick a better car?
|
because its a fwd turbo dodge forum, silly. now then this forum being predominantly subaru im sure we could do one featuring some version of the wrx. or maybe a wrx vs evo time attack
|
yea, best time I got was like, idk, close to 8 minutes. pffft gay
|
how about fastest wrx 1/4 mile time? lol i think i hold the world record for not cheating.

|
wow yea you got me. I think I was goin around 7.8 last time I ran it.
|
down to 7'06.xx the neon is actually pretty capable
oh, i prepped my time attack spec c just in case |
I was wondering when someone would post a challenge like this. I managed a 6’51.812 in the SRT-4 (no nitrous of course.) For sh!ts and giggles I ran a 6’39.803 in the Evo VIII MR. But I think I can run a better time in the Spec C WRX. (I’ll try tomorrow.)
I can record the replay on tape and bring it to a meet as proof. Yes, I’m from the “old school” however, I can kick some azz in this game.:afro: |
Hrm, almost makes me wish i played more than two hours of gt4. I even bought the super logitech wheel/pedal combo. I just couldn't find it as fun as gt2 or gt3. It really was like pokemon with cars...i loved the old restrictions in gt2, made for a much more challenging game.

I’ve got the wheels and pedals, too. My “adult” friends think I’m absolutely off my rocker. |

Actually, I'm not sure how to upload the replay to a computer. I'll snap a pick of the time when I get home... I'm at work right now. By the way, I’ve got 8-Track also. It rocks. |
I know what I am doing on my lunch break :driving:
|
I know I atleast got one run under 7 minutes with the indy car.
|
I don't have the mopar
but in 2001 wrx stage 3 turbo. I think my final drive was 4.20 and i had the torque set at 20% front 80% back running racing soft tires. 1st run 7'28 2nd 7'15 i went off tarmac a couple times so i know there's improvement. |
nice times! i have tomorrow off so we'll see what my spec c is capable of
|
... :driving:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/DSC00879.jpg Does anyone know how to save/upload the replay to a website to view publicly? If anybody knows I'll post the replay on StreetFire or some other site. |

**EDIT** I posted the pic of the SRT-4's time at the bottom of page one. |
6:59.222 !!! Getting there.
Setting this thing up to avoid wheelspin is damn near impossible. AWD FTW!! |
tried the spec c, almost there but i need to tune the understeer out. spending toomuch time in the grass ;)

maybe, but do you really want a turbo-mopar.com sticker?
P.S. while there are some srts its more of a omnidaytonashadowlebaronetc forum :) |

O.K. As I suspected, I beat my time in the Evo pretty easily with the Spec C. I ran a 6’31.061. The car can go faster because at one point I was beating that time and then spun out. Suspension settings with this car are critical because it’s initially a very loose car. I was able to iron out the suspension and it handled fairly well.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...SpecCTimes.jpg This car is fast, faster than its horsepower rating and weight would suggest. To test this theory I modified a Z06 to 700hp (naturally aspirated, full weight reduction, the works) and I STILL had a very hard time keeping up with the Spec C. Although the Z06 posted faster lap times, in the first few laps the Spec C left me in the dust. Try it and you’ll see what I mean. I make a motion to restrict the Spec C from competing with any car in the 4 cylinder category. It’s just too damn fast. If you’re a gambling man you can rob the mess out of some unsuspecting fool in a Spec C in this game. I’m open to any requests by the way. |

I guess I can still do more fine-tuning to the car. |

i think he got that time in a srt-4. i recently ran a 6'59. then tried a lower downforce/stiffer suspension setup with some wild camber and lost a second

Yeah, the designers were a little “off” on this car. But I still love the game. |
