In it to win it, also in if anyone wants to some practice drives, I live right off of 82. I still suggest A.I. Dupont High School in Greenville, DE as the meeting spot to start the run.

well guys...u can possibly count me in mayb...tonight i crashed the hatchy....im ok but the car didnt make it out to good i messed up the hole driver side...i made the biggest mistake by trying to take a rt i didnt know and i ended up loseing...but its ok ill still try to make it to our run most def but most likely my car wont be there....

Eric, if you want to have a meeting point at the shop, we could do that. Theres alot of decent roads up around that way that I can show you guys.

Ah yes, Rt 82. Used to take lunch break drives through all of those back roads when I worked in Greenville. Myself and a few buddies used to do this same thing on occassion after work also.

Just don't be stupid guys. For those who haven't driven it, it's narrow for the beginning portions of it, there are plenty of side roads to watch out for, and the biggest thing to contend with are all the BICYCLISTS!!! Those mofo's can sneak up on you as you round a blind curve.

Be careful guys and have fun. Wish I could go, but I'll do my own run sometime soon. :D

very true-- I can not stress how much great brakes are a must on a run like this. I do not, and will not drive recklessly, however I do plan on enjoying the fun parts of the route. First test run will be this tuesday, and the official route will be given.

haha this is what it is geared for--- Just to get us on the map! it will be a good time and 82 is delawares best kept secret (from other states, unless your pocketrocket) and its just a great way for some drivers to come out and have a blast on some roads that a lot of people wont have the ability to drive every day

Any suggestions for a time for the run, I really don't think we should do it in the day time because every once in a while there are bikers and walkers on the road and for someone who doesn't know it well, the margin for error could be very high.

I am open to suggestions as for time-I am absolutly opposed to doing it in the dark. That I can tell you will not happen. If we have to do it in the morning then I am not opposed I just dont want anyone to drop out because of the fact.If it were me then I would be out there at 7am-9:30-10 unfortunately thats not attractive to most people. If that doesnt work, we can try it at 6:30 at night and run till dark

Alot of people (especially bikers) go out and exercise in the morning. After 7 or 8pm would probably be our safest bet. I mean we could go earlier but we have to drive slow and be cautious, which would be no fun.:driving:

I defenitely second 7 or 8, we don't want anyone coming around a corner and wiping out a guy on a ride on his bicycle.

Ok we will meet up soon after 6 to get everyone together, take some pics then head out around 630/7:00 Todays practice run was non existant because of the weather but without a doubt I will be up a few times this week

I got a chance to give my car a workout today on some nearby backroads that dont hold a candle to 82 and it was awesome! Next tuesday and weds will be the practice runs and getting the route down pat.

I cant wait till we record the run on video. It's like the third time ever I have been on 82. I just cant stop driving it (back and forth and back and forth). It's addicting. Even got a nice run in behind an M3 today.

Well i dont have a camera mount, so i might have to ask you to ride shotty but we will see...well get some good exterior shots too just to get everyone wet about the whole run
