since there was a recent thread about ecstasy but no thread was ever started for a discussion on it I figured I would start a thread about a drug that i have always been interested in....Shrooms. Anyone have any views, opinions, experiences, or anything they would like to share? I have heard many different things from people ranging from its a very hard experience, a life changing experience, or the best experience they have ever had. Anything you can think of or share... post it here..

my one friend took them and then he swore an evil clown was under the porch trying to kill him. when he started smashing the porch with a huge knife the funniness ended

always heard about them from people but never saw 'em actually...wasn't there a comedian who said they taste like athlete's foot? lol

my friend would be under the "best experience ever "category. They love it.
Word to the wise, first timers, make sure you are with someone who is sober(not tripping) so when you start to freak out you can look over and see that your sober buddy is ok. Also, they last for up to 8 some even say 12 hours, make sure you are in a safe enviroment.
People do say acid is a cleaner trip, i dont have experience with either. just get to see some buddies doing it on occasion.

I have taken them several times. I have not had any bad trips so I like them and would do them anytime. I took them once and watched some HDTV on a huge flat screen and OMG, it felt like i was at the concert i was watching. My favorites are the chocolate ones :)

I went to college with a kid who commited suicide while on shrooms. I am NOT stating that the shrooms made him commit suicide, as he always was depressed, but he was still on shrooms while he offed himself by running in front of a train. Great way to go out, huh?

crazyness. people with actual experiences.. maybe tell us a bit more? good trips bad trips? things you have seen? etc?

I won't lie and say "my friend did this..." crap. I took them once...took me 30 minutes to walk down the street where it usually takes me 2. It was my first time and I wasn't sure how much to take so I overdosed (meaning just got really sick).

how much was too much for a first time? more than a quarter( 2/8ths)

never tried mushrooms, but have been the "sober" one when others did. one had a "bad" trip and spent the night in the shower drinking milk and making himself throw up trying to end it. took 10 hours.

i did try Acid in high school and i think it was the worst experiance ever. I like to be in control to much to let my self accept the crazyness that is going on. I'll never do it again.

never done shrooms, don't plan to. I like to be able to come back to reality at will if necessary ;)

R33, I think that is what a lot of people have problems with. I was with a few people when they got "high" for the first time (not shrooms). It wasn't the first time they did drugs but it was the first time it actually "hit" them the way it actually does (For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I am talking about pot).

The sense that you can't feel your mouth and have that tingling sense in your throat is instantly mis-construed by someone who doesn't have experience as that their body needs to throw up. It's all about just chilling the **** down and taking your time.

My friends initially panicked but after I explained it to them they felt better. Be with someone who has done thembefore to confirm what you are feeling. This makes them feel at ease that they aren't alone in their feeling.

to adam, i've never done them myself but have friends that have/do. i think 2/8ths for the first time is a lil too much. i think an 1/8 would be safer and certainly do the trick. also, they like to eat them with peanut butter since they supposedly taste like cow ish

I have never seen stuff...i think that's an exxageration unless you take ALOT (which i have never done). The only thing is whatever is there just moves like it's alive or something. So no, i have never seen a monster or whatever appear out of nowhere. But i have seen paintings, curtains and even my own hands move; it's fun. And yes i agree, 1/8 is plenty.

I also hear vitamin c intensifies the feeling so alot of people drink orange juice while tripping. Lastly, it's NOTHING like E. It's just food poisoning. :)

Hence why I just got really sick instead of dying or going to the hospital. I didn't see things persay but I did hear things...

It's kinda scary to really see how many people have actually tried durgs and or continue to use them. I have never done drugs or care too because I think there are far more positive things to do than get high, drunk, etc.

With that said, I have heard a few people that I know say they've done 'mu-' shrooms, and wanted to know what the hell it is. Obviously it's a drug but what exactly is it(I could google it but.....)

i hear there is a "body trip" and a "psycodelic trip". one you feel good but dont see anything... the other you do, it depends weather you eat "caps" or "stems". my highschool was deamed biggest drug school in PA past 2 years... also has the highest adverage GPA and best college acceptance.. go figure. anyway, being around this stuff so much and seeing friends do it... i was just curious.
OT to the thread but has anyone heard of "molly" maybe "moli" not sure...

mushrooms are mushrooms. they are i guess a poisioness mushroom. they grow on cow/ horse/ prolly any kind of manure if you have enough of it.

I think you have this mixed up...Mushrooms lasts 4-6 hrs. and is a cleaner trip than acid, which lasts 8-12 hrs. Also 2/8ths for a first time is way too much. I think half an 1/8th would be good enough.

I have had good trips and I have had some bad ones. I've actually pulled myself out of a bad trip...its really all in your mind. With that said, I do not encourage anyone to mess with hallucinogens. I have done a lot of LSD, shrooms and E, and I think they have changed me for the worse.

I think molly is pure MDMA(extasy). E is usually mixed with other things(MDEA, MDA, speed, K).

I've tried almost every drug when I was younger, but I've never tried DMT. Now I just stick to alcohol. :)

Mushrooms (the magic kind) are not grown in cow ****.

They are grown from spores in a medium of a rice cake/vermiculite mixture. The reason they make you "trip" is that they contain psylibin.

the big thing at our school now is nitrous. nitrous parties quickly get out of hand with people fishing out and falling into objects, dropping drinks etc.. but whoever is selling the nitrous is making insane cash flow

Haha you guys are nuts......I have def been around some people that were tripping before, and its just funny to see them smiling all the time..and just looking around and watching their facial expressions. But that type of stuff doesnt hold my interest. I smoked pot before, at the time is was fun..now it doesnt do anything for me. So I just stick to drinking a nice cold beer.

i heard dmt is the hardest, but i dont even know what it is. there was a show on lsd and E. id never do any kind of drug cuz im guarenteed to have a panic attack and have a bad trip. i dont see how people have balls to do chit like that. if it wasnt for acid tho the 60s would be completely different and music would suck

I have a fridge w/ a number of bottles of Hoegardden..and I can promise, a few will be drank tonight...

DMT is supposed to be crazy..i heard the trip only lasts around 5 minutes and its the most instense thing you could ever imagine...you need to be sitting or laying down and its bascially like you enter another dimension. As for nitrous i dont think i would mess with it...my friends used to do it but i duno i just never got interested...And as for pot...well im not gonna discuss my views on it cause i dont want people on here flaming, bitching, telling me its stupid etc etc etc...but i smoke probably about 5 days a week...maybe less sometimes...i never get anything negative out of a high, it doesnt make me slow or anything, and the effects i get out of it are never anything like those stupid commercials they put on tv, i actually become more active and appreciate everything 100 times more..And i agree...a cold beer FTW

weed isnt legal cuz it cant be taxed, alky is proven to be more dangerous but its taxable. also denver is legal for weed but only less than an ounce, and u cant sell it or buy it
