So you mean the good miller... since i know john won't read this it is ok to say that.

ItsMillerTime 07-01-2006 09:37 AM

Its a pretty good sized track. The lot that it is held in is on a hill so it makes for an interesting setup.
Weather says rain in the afternoon so hopefully it will hold out long enough for everyone to get all their runs in.:rally:

CleanNeon98 07-01-2006 11:33 AM

Hmm...an approtunity to hit some cones. Il try to come but it doesnt look like its happenin

peteyturbo 07-01-2006 04:40 PM

Isn't this event rain or shine?? I would LOVE to do an autoX in the rain for sure, either way, I'll be there.. Look for a graphite Gray EVO 8 MR..

An to the other question: The event IS rain or shine:mrgreen:

peteyturbo 07-02-2006 06:57 PM

Did anyone go?? I didn't get to sleep until 530 and didn't even hear the alarm, needless to say, I wasn't there..Any pics??

9 Ball 07-02-2006 07:06 PM

Unfortunately, I slept in today. I was up at 5am on Saturday to drive to Le Mans in Connecticut and didn’t get to sleep until 2:00am Sunday morning. I was pretty tired. But I'd like to see pics, too.

TROLL 07-02-2006 07:42 PM

yup, i'm hoping for some pics too. i wanted to come hang out but didnt have time before work...

bastid 07-02-2006 09:05 PM

I went, but only to hang out. Didn't have any inclination to wake up mad early this morning and run. I'm sure there will be some photos posted, although I'm not sure who from TST went (aside from Levon and teh Millers).

Renegade_ 07-02-2006 09:44 PM

CHAOS 07-02-2006 10:00 PM

I called it a GT3 too and one of the event coordinators quickly corrected me. He had me fooled, although while driving with a GT3 a few weekends ago, the real deal was a lot louder at idle and at WOT. Still a VERY sweet ride :prayer: :prayer: He was running Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, too. Although his times (that I caught) seemed a bit high for R-compounds. I caught two of his runs at 49.xx

CHAOS 07-02-2006 10:34 PM

do u know who ended up with the best times of the day?

My friend Ian (Red M3) ran a 49.6 as his best time, 4th in X-class. Best of the day was a 43 second run, not sure which car but that's damn quick. While manning the radio/flag post in the far left portion of the track, there were groups where 80% "DQ'd" due to going off course.

CHAOS 07-02-2006 10:36 PM

jesus...i bet that red mr2 got that 43... that thing was moving.

That thing was hauling ass. The maroon P-car was, as well. I have a feeling that Lotus Seven would have won if the driver could have kept it on the course. Refer to this video for proof of my theory:

:prayer: :prayer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkW-J...=lotus%20seven

CHAOS 07-02-2006 10:46 PM

there were alot of guys there that didnt seem to know what they were doing.

CHAOS 07-02-2006 10:47 PM

ive seen that vid btw... that guy is effing amazing.

Snoozie 07-03-2006 09:17 AM

We got there just as all the cars were leaving (which btw was not 4 o'clock, it was more like 2:30!) Hung out for a little bit then went to KOP.

ItsMillerTime 07-03-2006 12:03 PM

Hey guys,
It was a fun event yesterday. Thanks for all those who came out to hang out/drive.

To correct all of you in regards to that black porsche. It is a standard 911 carrera (rwd) but has a replica GT2 front bumper cover and rear wing, not GT3. It was a pretty cool car, although the body work looks kinda funny on a narrow body porsche.

Hope to see more of you driving at the next event, and once the weekly meets start up again hopefully we can get back to our huge turnouts.

S4toSTI 07-03-2006 12:06 PM

Hey ryan sorry i couldn't make it shore was more important. I was gonna invite you but we were actually fresh out of bed rooms not even kididng.

ItsMillerTime 07-03-2006 03:23 PM

Yo Barry,
Thanks for the thought. Maybe some other time.
