Weekly Meets In West Chester
 

Well as we all know the weather is gettin warmer, and we all know what that means. more people WHOOT. but yea as more and more people start to become "regulars" at wawa in West Chester that also mean that there are going to be alot of assholes there. From what we could saw from 5/25/06 that some people have no respect for anyone or anything. As everyone started to bolt out of the wawa parking lot after hearing the guy that worked there say cops. me and a few others politely asked why everyone was getting kicked out and he replied. “We have no problem with you people hanging out here, we just have three rules, one no revving of engines, Two no loud music, and finally just don’t block traffic and stand in the way.” That’s all.
So people if u want to continue to be able to “chill” at the wawa without worrying about the cops kicking us out, just don’t act like asses. We get lots of new people out there every week it seems, so don’t mess it up for everyone.
I know that some of you people may not care, but there are a large # of us that do, so if not done come. There is really no where else we can really meet because century 21(across the street) is considered private property and we are not aloud there, and behind McDonalds is really small.
So yea just try to follow the rules they told us. And hope to see you all out there.

its the A-holes who always ruin the fun. The more people who are there, the more everyones egos grow and the more they have to display how much more money they have spent on their car than everyone else. Hence revving, loud music, racings etc.

I think you should move the meet to a new location every week, then the people you dont want to come wont know. The bowling palace parking lot behind the bowling place and home depot...would be a sweet place to have a meet. Its a big parking lot and nobody ever meets out there. West Chester is overrated IMO ( I lived there for 4 years).

yea most every week night people are out there. but nearing friday there are dozens of people out. its crazy

i second that......as long as it not on fri nights.....thurs or sat would be good....or any night besides fri

you can go up to that other meet, i forget where it is like 1 1/2 away, and we'll stay in west chester

change the location??:rofl: ok first of all you dont even come down. secondly if u do come down its only for like a minute to tell everyone that your going to a party. So why are u tell us to change the location. I haven’t head anyone else complain.

ill complain... No offense but i think WC is a big place which is good, BUT it has caused alot of confrontation in the past with random people, also its a main spot that cops scope out alot of time, plus 90% of the time Ive spent in WC meets I was part of many Illegally Loitering which could cause un-wanted attention from the police and what not. There is alot of people which is good but if you could move it to some where with no so much negative **** going on then i would be there more then i have been. ive seen people throwing things at moving traffic, fights almost starting at meets with attendee's and people that might just be driving by wether its in the street, or in the wendys or wawa parking lots. Me im coming to the end of three years of PO and some of the **** i wanna stay away from just because it only takes one thing for me or someone else to do that could get me f'd up again. For the people that dont ever start trouble or see trouble thats good but if we could just move it to a better place with less idiots wether there people who just happen to pull in or normal attendee's (no pun intended to anyone specific)

well i understand mostly what you are saying but some of it is completly not ture. i havent seen you down to a west chester meet in a few months now and yea things have change a lil since then. first of all the mangers at wawa said to us many times that they have no problem with us there just as long as we dont rev engines, loud music and etc. same rules as any other meet. yea there are a few people that dont care and rather do whatever they feel. but recently we havent had any problems with any of the cops down there. all they do is drive by once in a while just do show there presents. the meets there are not as bad as u make it seem. secondly if some people want the meets moved, start something up, post up a moved locatation and see how it goes, and finally i dont really think there are any really good locations besides the ones we currently are at. so im leaving it up to someone if they want to relocate the meets go head. but i know where im still meeting at.

well i guess u can think its not bad but if i remember correctly one night i seen people throwing tennis balls and spare change into oncoming traffic and i know i have witnesses on this one... no mentioning names either. I havent been there i guess for those aparent reasons i guess and also it is a bit of a drive from my way. You go there basically because its the closest meet to your place, i mean hey if there was a closer place to me and whatever id be there, but i know if there was a BETTER place id go there instead drive another extra 15 minutes instead of hanging arround something that might get me in trouble or to something more exciting with alot more of a variety of cars rather then the same **** every week.

ok. you dont like the wc meets, then dont come. i see there are plenty of people who do like then and dont mind.

hey im just saying theres things about it i dont like and of course if your tryin to get more people to come im not going to let them waste there time driving all the way there and relizing theres some idiots that like to ruin things. see at TST meets them things just dont happen...

give me a street address and a day of the week and i'll throw it on there :wink:

as for the meets, i'm glad that some people understand that in order to keep a meet going that things need to stay under control. different spots definitely have their own set of unspoken rules, and it all depends on the general personality of the group. if the majority of people agree that they want to stay well behaved and not draw any unwanted attention then you've got the masses on your side. if someone gets out of hand just be quick to tell them to cut it out or leave. after a while the troublemakers wont bother coming and at the same time you'll attract the cool peeps. i'm not saying there should be any aggressive confrontations, but if 20 people are telling 3 people to cut out the crap, they will... [non-violent] power in numbers.

west chester sucks now yo. and its not a weekly meet its a nightly meet just about.

basically go into town any night and ppl will be out....... and prolly just about the same ppl who would be at the meets.....

and wawa is beginning to kick people out quickly. they are getting sick of all the parking being taken up by people who dont buy anything and sit there for hours and hours
