The Official Photo Shoot Locations Thread

So while driving around today, taking pictures popped into my head and I wanted to find some good locations around the area. But I didn't know any. I hope this idea hasn't been thought of already but I'd like to make this thread for the purpose of posting any and all locations and spots for having a photo shoot or taking pictures. So post em up!

*EDIT* please include a google map link and a brief and to the point description about your location so I can add it to a list that will be made in this first post. Thank you!

Found this spot today

Glencairn Museum (right across from Bryn Athyn college), Bryn Athyn, PA

There's also a cathedral nearby and there's really nice scenery

not a bad idea, i think you should post a google maps link to the exact location, so then people can know where it really is, if they are not familiar with the areas.

most played out location, but always a goodie....

Ah thanks I never thought of posting a link

This is a good idea. For central NJ people, there are some abandoned shipping factories in Cranbury.

if this thread is going to turn out to be useful, you should have to post a pic with a google maps link to go with. not just a couple pictures inside a parking garage, you can find them anywhere:roll: post them in the random picture thread.

Sublime1304 02-08-2011 08:25 PM

What about the meet in the garage. Never heard about it. Got an address? I'd def go

MX5 02-08-2011 08:37 PM

Location, location, location

Sublime1304 02-08-2011 08:42 PM

Yes can people start briefly describing your locations so I can put it in a list in the first post. Like just something short and to the point

Also, please post a google map link when you make a post. Thank you! I just updated the first post with this information too

I actually HAVE a thread for the meet.
Search search search.
;)

As for the other pictures, Those are in historic trenton. As well as a bunch of other great locations for pictures. You just have to drive around.

Edit: I'll help you out for the meet thread even though it's just a few clicks

Great idea for a thread OP!

Unfortunately it would be impossible to do that shot again since they demolished all of that field and put up a fence...but their are still other great photo ops at Beth Steel!

Btw, don't try to take photos on the opposite side in the casino parking lot....they'll kick you out. "No cameras allowed on casino property".

Francis E. Walter dam near Jack Frost. When they drain the one side of the dam for maitenance you're allowed to drive down in it. Makes for awesome photos.

Good Places for Photo Shoots

So I have been looking around for some good places to shoot pics of my car, and now that I have found some I am realizing that some other people may be having trouble finding spots to go also.
So if you have any really good spots that you shoot photos at, list them here!
Couldn't find anything else like this so I hope it helps out

Shipman 01-09-2012 03:00 PM

Theres some cool abandoned factorys in south nj if youre willing to take a little bit of a drive

JDMTyler3326 01-09-2012 03:07 PM

I remember seeing a thread with tons of spots a while back

Zaior 01-09-2012 03:10 PM

Yeah I spent about 15-20 min looking for it but couldn't find anything.. if you can link id love it

Anyway:
The back parking lot of the Springfield Target is pretty good, It has some rock walls, and some trees with graffiti, it can be a really nice scenery background depending on the angle that you shoot at.

JERRYM1997 01-09-2012 05:49 PM

Sublime1304 01-09-2012 06:25 PM

Say you're out driving somewhere, running errands, whatever, look around. You may find some place interesting by accident. I've done this a bunch of times. Plus, half the fun is going out and finding the spots

Sublime1304 01-09-2012 06:29 PM

I posted up this thread way back but it never really took off. It was suppose to be a thread where we could all post up our interesting spots to shoot at for others to reference.
