My wife Caryn is about 15 weeks pregnant. Expected due date May 22nd, 2011. We just had the test done to make sure the baby won't have down syndrome and that came back negative. Anyone that is friends with me on Facebook please don't post about this yet, as me and Caryn haven't told everyone that needs to know yet, and we'd hate for them to find out from someoneelse posting about this on Facebook.

Awe congratulations; babies are the best! :) And make sure you get lots of sleep now cause once that baby comes theres not going to be a whole lot of it! :wink:

went for another check up last night. And the baby wasn't cooperating so the Dr. was unable to tell the gender during the ultrasound. We have a sonogram appt on January 6th, and then another check up on the 13th, maybe we'll have better luck then. But on a funny not the baby showed their hand again, and it looked like he/she was giving the finger. Nice, 1 less thing to teach. haha

Congrats! Raising a child is the best thing that could ever happen to anyone who is able to do it. Our first and only baby girl is already a bit over 5months old now. The previous post about get sleep now, Is VERY true. I'm averaging 3hrs per nite of sleep, For the past 5 months. Bringing a human-being into this world and and watching he/she grow is the best feeling in the world. You'll realize how paranoid you'll become on everything. I child really changes you, But for the better. Everything will be about him/her once he/she is brought into this world!!! Give him/her the life that some can only dream of!!! :)

went for anatomy scan on Friday AM, and everything is perfect. Woman who did the testing said she is 85percent sure it is a girl. We have monthly checkup on Thursday evening. Hopefully some more certainty to this.

it's official. At check up Thursday night, Dr. said 100% without a question it is gonna be a girl. I'm gonna have to keep the shotgun loaded LOL:laughing:

thank you. Well see how that will go, trainer already gave us some ideas of how to get him ready for the baby. She just had 2, and her dogs knew nothing of them before. Mac does realize something is up though. Guess it's the hormones, he also lays his head on her belly LOL
haha yeah I bet. I work overnights right now, hopefully that will change, but if it doesn't my sleep wont be too effected haha

update checkup at baby Dr. went well on Thursday night, everything is fine. Baby Davis checks in at 5lbs 13oz, give or take a pound. We now start the everyother week check up. And she will be here in approximately 36 days =) she'll gain 1/2 a pound a week or so. So 2.5 pounds + right now she is between 4lbs 13oz and 6lbs 13oz. So anywhere from just under 7 to just until 9lbs when said and done

**** yeah, can we expect a future girlie girl racer?

Thursday night at Dr. baby Davis checks in at 8lbs3oz give or take a pound and a half still on track for the 22nd. and we saw her mouth moving her mouth and her hand close to her mouth and when he zoomed in she looked like she was sucking her thumb.

isnt it amazing seeing that stuff? i member seeing it and it feels just like yesterday. my son just turned 4 months today and every day is amazing. good luck to ya

In the home stretch, due date is tomorrow. Last check up Thursday night baby checked in at 8lbs7oz give or take a pound and a half, and nothing going on down there yet. Dr. wants us to go in for a different sonogram which they can tell the weight of the baby better. We have an appt for Monday am, if she is 10lbs or more Dr. is going to schedule a C section. If the baby is less then 10 we wait it out a bit longer and see.
