Got mine delivered today. Activated it about an hour ago. So far I'm very impressed. It's fast as all hell, the screen is fantastic, and the new camera rocks.

i HATE itunes with a passion, the amount of SUCK in itunes is almost enough for me to ditch my iphone for an EVO or BB.

I guess since the old one they made can't even do an update it would make sense to spend money and buying a new one... or just buying a different product that you didn't have trouble with. That is the same thing as buying a Kia and it having issues when you own it and then buying the same one again.:screwy:

Same here. Julie has an iPhone and I hate everything about it. I used to like Apple but the iPod sucks compared to the Zone, and I like WM alot more the the iPhone even though it can't do as much, its still is much more customizable and you dont' gotta go though Apple to get everything for it.

Funny! But I've had phones in the past if you hold it wrong it didn't get great receiption, but that was on phones 5 years ago, you would think they could od better now.

After reading about the new phone, it really soudns like they just pushed it out so it was good enoguh to sell a crap load, but not nearly as good as it SHOULD of been.

holding the phone cradeled in your left hand puts the palm of your hand across both the wifi/BT and radio signal antennas, kind of like shorting them out.

Tell the people in line about the Droid X and if they aren't completely retarded they will go home and wait a few weeks and switch to Verizon.

Just saw speed test results from people touching the iPhones in various ways... wow.

I slept in my car outside of Best Buy last night in anticipation of the line that would be there but never showed up. Got up around 8 and spoke to a rep who informed me that she only had 4 16GB models and that the truck would come later in the day with the 32 that I needed. 6 hours later, the truck never showed up, so I made the hour long drive back to my parents house. There is still a chance the truck will show up today, then the girl at Best Buy will call me.

So far though, today has sucked.

Got my phone. Waited about an iphone. Honestly not that impressed. Same thing as my 3g with a couple new features and faster. Still love it though.

So how long exactly, in minutes, does it take to wait "about an iPhone?" I've never heard of that unit of measurement. LOL.

I'm hoping Apple manages to resolve all the 'big' issues with the 4 by Christmastime .. I never buy anything as soon as it comes out just because of the problems that inevitably arise. I can wait six months to save myself the aggravation, y'know?

Reception dilemma is LOL-able, though.

Of course they'd say that so people won't freak out, I don't understand why people jump all over new apple products they are always problem ridden then I'm 3 months they announce an upgraded version.

I got one yesterday, huge difference in speed over my 3G. Not sure how it compares to the 3Gs but I don't see how anyone could say that its not much different than the 3G... everything is instant, no more waiting.
I dig it, I'm still figuring out all of what it does really though. As far as design and feel though, its just alright. I think the older phone feels nicer in my hand, and the design is nice but not amazing looks-wise.

but at the same time they just admitted that the signal strength display has been false all along. so who knows what they are going to do. hopefully they fix it.

well today my iphone 4 decieded to go with me for a swim in the pool. i totally ****ign forgot i had it in my pocket until about 10 seconds of being in the pool. so i took it the **** out and laid it out to dry, after about 20 minutes said **** it and took it inside grabs my tools and took it apart. Its different then the others iphones have been. but i took it apart dry off everythign i could and put it all out in the sun to dry. after about an hour and half i put it together and it magically has turned back on. I have gotten it to make phone calls and i can hear and the other person can hear me. i was able to still connect to my email account and launch apps. but i have a huge problem which im hoping with allowing it to dry some more it will go away. the problem is the touch screen is very screwy i gotta tap somethign a million times to get it to open and half the time it launches the wrong app and all. so yea.. worse case i might just need a need touch screen but time will tell... and i'll also see later on if it will take a charge.

I'm taking mine into Apple tomorrow for a few reasons.

1. Screen has been much more sensitive to scratching than my 3G. My iPhone 4 has more scratches in 2 weeks of careful use than my 3G had after 2 years of torture.
2. Hitting end call, mute, and speaker with my face is a PITA when the display is off and should be deactivated.

Other than that, phone has been great.

as an update my phone is back to working 100%. everything works including the flash still. the screen has a few issues in the image quality now but i'll take that after it being submerged in water lol.
