lol I wasnt being a dick, but if you jumped into the DSM game to make a quick buck you'll slowly find out that it doesnt happen, and im not saying it as an asshole i'm saying it as someone that has been around DSMs for quite some time, the car you have there you will have tough time gettin 3500 for it, NOT because it a bad car or dirty or anything like that, because I have seen the car in the past (before you got it) and it is clean. but the unfortunate truth is people that get into DSMs are looking for FAST & CHEAP power. Don't feel discouraged it just is what it is, nobody will ever pay that much for a 1G DSM and fact of the matter is unfortunately these things arnt worth dick. I think that I have a pretty clean DSM and pretty well modded and id be extremely lucky if someone gave me 4000 for it. my car would prolly sell for 3000 to 3500 tops.
how much you think carver could get for his car as it sits? i don't think anyone would pay more than 5000 for it just because it is a DSM. why do you think more than half of these cars get parted out? people make back way more money in pieces as apposed to selling it as whole and thats teh Sad DSM world we live in.
But chris if you can get your asking price for the car I'd be very happy for you there is nothing better than buying something and flipping it for more than twice its value. Good luck with the sale man and again i'm not being a dick at all i just figured you havent been around DSMs long enough to know yet that these things are worth peanuts. |
