So my sleeper Talon should be good to get a run off? Do they pop the hood up at all?

Some guys pop the hood, others don't. If it's pretty subdued, they probably won't.

yea normally they dont make you pop the hood unless they have reason to suspect somethings up or may be "rigged"

Easy way to remove solid crystallized coolant from an assembled shortblock (NO accys)? i need the passages cleared, especially @ the waterpump hole.

ahh i wont make the shootout, ill be down for atco anyday though, my cars been driving me insane, its like every bolt on the car has decided to come loose or back out, first i lost 3 turbo to manifold bolts, then my power steering pump fell off, then the bracket for the alternator came loose, i just dont know why everything is coming loose

Has anyone on here launched 5speeds on 26 Inch slicks? couldnt find any smaller damn tire that would fit a GST wheel.

Yes...both 26" and 24.5".

Is it much more difficult to launch on the 26s? Also is it much more damaging to the car to launch on such a large tire?

I checked every single tire manufacturer and could not find a damn thing in 24.5 for a 16. I know the 24.5 is more ideal for 5speeds.

I don't know If there are any off the top of my head. Why not go with a 15" wheel? Most that run 16" go with a 26" slick.
