Damn, sounds like a motor failure. Happened to my Vws once on Rt.73. I was putting down the front windows, and they just fell down lol. Then wouldnt come back up.

yea i guess so, I might just keep the tint the same % but just new film so it looks cleaner.

I was also hesitant about buying it and it came out great and i love it. I would have taken you for a ride in the car so you see how much air flow you get but the car barely runs on my break in map haha, when im tuned in the next few weeks ill take you for a spin. Call rallispec, they usually stock them but every once in a while they run out and you have to wait for them to come from japan.

Yeah, I need mine re-done as well. The other body shop scratched it up lol!

I definately want to go for a ride and make sure the function is there. I've always heard they were great and having a car with no a/c, I guess anything will be better than nothing.

I had one but sold it. I remember paying $375, are they really $500 now?

06njsti 07-15-2009 02:53 PM

yea its like 486+tax from rallispec i think. When i got my sti in the summer of 07 i remember i almost bought one off a nasioc group buy for like 350ish. i kinda wish i got it then haha

D Money 07-15-2009 02:56 PM

You should get one status leather/kevlar bucket for the driver seat to match the limited interior. That would be tits!

BTW, who were those subaru kids talking to me? I didn't know them, but I think I found some parts for sale. LOL

06njsti 07-15-2009 03:12 PM

im gonna get some kind of interior this winter. I wanna try to get a few 10 second passes in with the leather though.

The one kid was sam, hes got a ppg's rex that put down 381 at verocious on a dom1 and i met alot of the other kids last night too. Ive been to bb maybe 3x since december so im seeing alot of new faces even subaru owners but its good your selling old parts.

Nah it wasn't that bad. The passenger side window always made this cool mechanical creaking noise since I got the car and I didn't think anything of it, but it turns out that BWM's are notorious for having a horrible power window design and there's little plastic clips that break and everything goes out of whack.

sean3 07-15-2009 03:47 PM

Good ol e46 window regulators

Ah ok, cuz that VW job was a pain in the balls to fix! Glad it wasnt anything TO major. Those cars like to nickle and dime you right around 60K.

hah damn..I guess because my dad always gets rid of his before they hit 60K LOL Same with my uncle. Awesome cars, but they tend to get pricey at certain points. I think my dad said around 60-65 K and 130-135K.

To me that guys an idiot with a over powered lightweight car with no wheelie bars, and guess what that mr2 would have wooped his ass and still did a wheel all over his face because mr chevette would be sitting on his roof.

motorvated 07-15-2009 05:13 PM

That video wasnt a drag race...its a wheel stand competition. He was trying to flip the thing lol
