I'm confused here, the site is offering a premium deal, where I pay them x amount of money to host the site and get the domain name. Is this different from just buying the domain name and then hosting the site elsewhere? I really don't know how to ask that question, this stuff confuses me.

You can buy a domain and host it on any server. If you pay godaddy or a similar company they're just going to host your data on their corporate servers. They usually run 4 regular sites on one server which isn't good for bandwidth.

So, say I wanted to take this current website and just host it elsewhere, is there a way for me to just get the data or I don't even know to move it elsewhere?

probably more than 4 on a server :lol: that place is a farm ;)

when you host multiple sites on a single server, a site that gets a lot of traffic may end up causing site's with a smaller user base to get hit with slow load times...

consider TST, relatively small...

if TST is hosted on a server... with say... "busty asians forum" then we're taking a huge hit due to all the image loads and refreshes to the site "busty asians forum".

how much is this premium deal? its probably... no, its definitely going to be cheaper to keep what you've got done and stay with the current company. for me to host, its going to cost $10 a month... plus programming, since what you've got done will not work on my server (most def a different programming language)

I'm just sayin' though, i want to work on more sites so i can build my personal resume :lol: and make more money.
