And Liz how does your program work? Do you get paid to take care of the dogs or is it volunteer? I assume at the least all expenses are covered? Sounds interesting... I had a friend who did that a long time ago but it was with the babies. She had 5 kittens running around her room when I was there, it was amazingly cute.

So I'm assuming it's turned off? LOL

Good question. Do you get paid to do that? I mean, that seems like it would be quite a bit of work.

The one program (The Seeing Eye) is all volunteering and you get money for basic supplies plus vet bills. North Star pays, but I'm not sure if everyone gets paid or if that's just Liz. lol

Pretty much your payment is the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping an autistic child or a blind/visually impaired person.
