Obvousily the cop is going to be biased. I'm pretty sure you dont have to have a permit to gather on private property.

I agree, if the owner of sonic is cool with it on his private property there is no issue. The people around probably complain about the ricers racing down street road which sonic has no control over.

Everybody should go buy anything from sonic even a drink fries w/e then we are paying customers and there is no problem

The cops said they will pressure the establishments into making us leave for "liability" reasons. They will mention street racing, accident, dead kids, lawsuit, and how the business is at fault.

No business will be able to afford to risk those conditions once explained by a officer of the law that is not in our favor. It's that simple. They win cause "u will respect my authoriti" in the words of cartman.

when the cops came and were rude as hell kicking everyone out last night. i simply walked up, Sonic drink in hand, to the tables and sat and stayed there. basically not much the cop can do then, im just a paying patron who wanted to sit down for a little extra time to drink my purchased drink.

Which gives me an awesome idea as to how we can still hold the meets there. Basically leave the cars in the lot and chill under the canopy around the tables. Also bring a few cars into the drive-up booths and hang around them and eat. I've seen plenty of people just park and chill there, and then the cops really can't say anything because if they say something you can just tell them "we are waiting for our food".

I may have to talk this idea over with Dan and see what's what.
