no pop... no boot... led for the fan popped on, then off...

What power supply do you have? Make sure you plugged the power cable into the mobo right. Some mobos require a big plug and a small plug alongside each other but you probably know this.

Scapegoat 12-16-2008 10:06 PM

850w power supply, 8pin plug in the 8pin doohikey and the huge one in the huge doohickey

i've got the two 6plugs going to the video card, one sata cable supplying the burner and hdd, two molex suppying i think 2 fans each, plus whatever is required by the front of the box...

Scapegoat 12-16-2008 10:08 PM

i may pull off the sata stuff and the video card and see if the mobo boots in bios

Scapegoat 12-16-2008 10:24 PM

oooo baby yeah

top fan isn't working... may need to replace it... installing ubuntu now

and the issue?

not putting in the mobo mounts first...

<-- ****tard

if this fan works on another motherboard... then this motherboard i have is bad... and thusly, will need replacement :)

fortunately newegg has a 30 day refund/replacement... so i may buy another mobo and just get this one refunded

Me too. I'm planning out my expenses for the rest of the month and I should have about $20 to my name by the end of the month. Awesome.
