So, let's remember that people dick with cars after they are purchased from us. Lay the blame where it is deserved and not where you THINK it is deserved. I had no problems with you, but now I do.

So am I assuming the father hacked the Tcase together and it was leaking everywhere so it could become a possible death trap for his son? I don't think so. They could have done some stuff to it, but I highly doubt that all the people that are having problems with the cars they are buying from you guys are purposefully breaking them.

It says I don't care for coming to this site. I'm just saying what actually happened with that car that blackvr4 was talking about.

The guy I sold the car to came to the shop for the parts that were broken. That's why I know what was done to the car after I sold it. The parts were given to him for free. I even gave him a spare 93 turbo ecu.

I don't want to have to come here to set the record straight, but the Internet is so easy to spew misinformation on.

Again I have no idea what transactions you made with the previous buyers of the red car, but the lady told me the car drove for less than 3 months before it broke (spun bearing). And she told me that the engine has been rebuilt when she purchased the car from you guys, she was selling me a blown up car so I cannot see what gain she had by lying to me. Again to me it makes no difference, what was done to the car by either you guys or the previous owner, I have corrected almost 90% of the problems, the correct way. (Also keep in mind that when I disassembled the engine the cylinder 4 rod was a different color and had different casting mark/stamps on it from all the other rods. So there is no doubt in my mind that the engine has been apart before)

I thought about making a informative post about what I found in the red car on 3Si and other 3S related forums but I did not, again, I have no bone to pick with you or GZP, and I know you guys have had a bumpy ride on 3Si, so I really did not want to add any fuel to the fire. I have 0 motivation to try to spread misinformation about your business, I have nothing to gain or lose from it. Again I really don't want you to get upset about it, the car that I purchased was bought from you guys maybe over 2 years ago, you guys could have turned your business completely around by now, and probably do things completely differently then you did ~3 years ago.

Hans_GZP 02-04-2012 09:04 PM

So list all of the cars that have had all I these problems? What kind I problems have they had?

Hell, I have a non turbo here at the shop that I sold the kid 3 months ago. We had installed a rebuilt auto trans in the car for the previous owner. That trans is now having a problem and we told them that it would be covered under the warranty from the previous owner. A warranty that they would have never known about if I didn't tell them.

I could go on and on about what we do for our customers. I have flawless reviews on 3si for over 3+ years. I have nothing to prove to anyone here, but don't go saying I did anything to a car unless you know it for sure. Hell, all you had to do was drop me a line on Facebook like you did before about this car.

I have no idea what is up with the tcase. They never brought the issue up with me. If they had, it would have been taken care of.

Hans_GZP 02-04-2012 09:11 PM

I guess you need a reminder from our conversation on facebook about that car.

Fella's, enough, get back on topic. Take this to PM's or another part of the forum.

Hans_GZP 02-04-2012 09:34 PM

An here you say the lady you were buying it from said it had an engine in it from a 94 vr4. Not a rebuilt engine.

I'd rather prove my point publicly since I've been called out publicly.

HaveBlue83 02-05-2012 02:16 AM

Hans I am not really sure what you have proved by your post? You just quoted things that I brought up to you before in private because I felt like there was no need to discuss it on a public forum, if anything there was no need to post screen shots of it because....

in your screen shots you just proved how much BS gets spewed, from you guys in both a public forum and in private.

in this thread I quote, something you said (post# 1678).

In the facebook chat (that you so generously provided) between us before I even bought the car.

So let me get this straight at first its a motor pulled out of a wrecked car, and then you know the exact specs about the motor? Reason I stated its a rebuilt motor is because you practically came out and told me on FB (in private) that its been rebuilt with the exact specs of the bearing clearances. common man, only reason you know the specs is because you rebuilt the motor, I see no reason for having any of those numbers committed to memory if its just a motor out of a wrecked car. I don't see the point in lying and then quoting a private convo between us to further prove the BS people say about you guys.

I had no intentions to even bringing up the fact that you knew what was done to the motor (which you did tell me on FB as you so proved by your screen shots). But common man somehow you pulled this perfectly used engine out of a running car then, miced the crank to figure out the bearing sizes? but thanks for contradicting your point? I guess.

Lets also bring up the fact that you guys have been banned from 3Si for about 3 years (for what reason I have no idea nor do I even care to look deeper into), and lets also not forget you guys only recently got your accounts back on 3Si since the new ownership of 3Si.

Let me ask you this, what do I have possibly to gain by tarnishing the GZP name? I am not a competitive shop, I do not work on or plan on working on peoples cars (3Ss) for money, I do not seek ANY type of reimbursement for anything that has been done to the red car incorrectly (because I did not buy it from you, and frankly asking for any type of compensation on my end would be completely preposterous), i don't throw these cars together to try to make a quick buck here and there. I have absolutely nothing to gain, but I'll tell you this if somebody asks me if these types of running cars are good to buy from you, I will give them my opinion and things I have found in a car that has been through you guys.

Also don't forget that I even myself told Tru2Blu in this thread to try to buy a shell from you guys (post# 1665)

Common man there is absolutely no need to keep this stupid discussion going, after this post I am going to be the bigger man and not make any more posts on this subject matter because I feel there is absolutely no need for me to keep ****ting in this thread, so go ahead call me a noob, an idiot, somebody that spews lies, whatever you want, I wont respond. I have said what I need to say, after this buyers approach at their own risk.

In closing I would like to apologize to both you and Emilie that I suggested and brought up the GZP name in a positive manner to Tru2Blu who was a seeker and potential purchaser of a 3S shell. You will not see me again try to steer any sort of potential business your way.

I didn't even rea your whole post just to point out that the talk about a crank was in response to you asking what cranks I had for sale that you could buy to fix the red car. I'll gladly post up a screen shot in a minute to prove you wrong yet again!!!

Hey man, Are you able to post pictures? Also I am assuming its a 6bolt/4bolt? How much mileage is on the car and condition of tranny?

To me it sounds like the timing belt skipped (very common for these old mitsubishi's when they are put together incorrectly by both shops and owners especially if short cuts are taken) But I do have a friend that is looking for something like this! Let me know and I can refer him to this thread!

nononono!!! I do not want anymore cars, you have seen the front of my house, it looks better then most Mitsubishi dealerships! But my friend does want me to build him a DSM since he knows the quality of cars that I turn out!

Got Insulin? 02-05-2012 03:37 PM

That Red Talon's post was deleted because he doesn't meet our classifieds requirements. However, I left his quoted post with his email for anyone that wants to get in touch with him about the car, you can also take it to PMs.

I'm going to leave that little bit of banter from Hans, Art, and Alex for now because interested parties should know what they're getting into when dealing with GZP; however, the issue is now closed and both parties have stated their cases. If either of you tries to resurrect it, it's going to be a problem.

Carry on.

Thank you Taylor! You prove time and time again that you are one of the better moderators of TST! I respect you a lot and have no plans on resurrecting the issue!

With that being said, you should be trying to buy Red Talons car and get back into the DSM game!

From the sound of it, sounds like you got a shell!!!!! There is a junk yard in Pine Hill that has 3, 3S shells, although they are not black, I am pretty sure they have fenders, if I am there anytime soon I will check them out!

Yeah man, should be picking it up next sunday, so let me know if you see any at the junk yard.
