MEETS in public locations are organized so that people can socialize and talk shop...right?

If you don't want to approach it with an attitude of, "Hey, we're all just coming out here to have some fun." then f*** off, you're a burden and a nuisance.

It's a common sense thing. American muscle, rice, the original Tuesday night crew, whoever - if you're going to do something to attract unwanted attention from the police or locals, do it elsewhere so that you won't ruin the fun for everybody else.

There's no need to blast your subs - you're going to piss off both people at the meet and people in the surrounding area.

There's no need to burn out - that can be classified as "destruction of property" and reckless driving/exhibition of racing. Do you really want to kill the meets for all of us, and THEN be fined on top of that?

There is NO need to rip up and down the road in front of Best Buy/Dick's like an escaped felon who just got caught raping the warden's daughter. Easy way to take out somebody pulling out of one of the shopping plazas. Not to mention the fact that there isn't much road between the lights.

• On this point, I would ask that anyone looking to race or tear up the road please do so on the highway. It's safer for everybody, and has a smaller chance of attracting attention back to the meet.

Come with a good attitude, don't be a jackass, respect and be thankful for the fact that we're able to use this location. This is NOT public property, public property is owned by the municipality, township, state, etc.

Agreed. This meet needs to stay alive and doesnt need to gert ruined because of a bunch of immature people who think its cool to do stupid $hit like that.

Especially the car surfing and the stupid loud music and the screaming of the lyrics while driving around the parking lot surrounding the meet.

All that nonsense needs to stop.

I enjoy and look forward to tuesdy nights and im sure so does everyone else that comes out to meet new people and talk.

but on the real real, i would hate to see this meet go south and we NEED to say something, the guys blaring their music went on for a while and i didn't see anybody actually go up to them and say anything...and i don't mean tell them to **** off and turn their **** down, just go up and nicely say something like (in a nice way) "hey, we're trying to keep the meet as low key as possible and trying to cut down on reasons for cops to come, so could you guys turn your music down enough so only people standing next to your car can hear it and turn your strobes off...we're really just here to chill and not show off" or something like that...and i know i'm also guilty of not saying anything...i think what we should do is go up as a group so it doesn't look like only one person feels this way

i'm also really liking saturn steve's idea for putting up signs...i'll even help make them...i think they'll help cut down on all the needless revving, tire spinning, speeding, etc.

i really enjoy my tuesday nights because of this meet and it's introduced me to some awesome new people, let's not let this be ruined by other people's stupidity

i dont have turbo,s and my car doesnt spin ..and i dont hang out every tuesday, but rather than talk about how fast your "show car " is take it to the track and prove it ..
im too old to lose my liscence or hurt someone ,,like i said ill be at the track when i can,, racing my race car ..

and that wont happen my wifes car has been 11.90 with the bottle an 12.89 on motor on street tires ..

what im getting at is why not have your meet at the track its only 15 minutes away ..you can still park and shoot the sh###t if theres a freindly argument on who has the baddest car pull it in the lanes ..there are trash cans everywhere if your blaring your stereio the will kick you out ,if your doing burnouts they kick you out ,you can grab somthing to eat watch racing ,its only $15 to race $10 to watch closes around 10:30 ,you dont harass any one ..no tickets
