all of a sudden i got sharp pain in my chest and i had to like sit back in my chair and catch my breath it was effing weird/scary but im fine now

like i said, thats a muscular deal... i know the heart is a muscle... but that pain is from chest muscles, not your heart

yeah exactly... and yes, they ****ing blow... but theres nothing to really worry about, just a muscle contraction... it just hurts like a bitch and makes it hard to breath because its now allowing your chest to expand

I've heard though, that when that does occur to some people, they freak into thinking it's a hard attack which sends them into a panic attack allowing something to possibly go wrong.

The best thing to do with any pain is to just relax and stay calm, tensing up makes it worse.
