Someone help me find a clean 91-93 vr4 shell for no more than $1000....
|
Good luck dude. People still think that those things are made of platinum and that a shell or a car with a blown motor will pull 3K.

You wouldn't be the first person I know that has had issues dealing with Hans. Fortunately though it seems like most running cars people buy from them just have a **** load of problems. But I cannot imagine a non running shell having many issues, but I don't blame you for not wanting to give them anymore money if you had a bad experience in the past.

Tru2blu had problems with an antenna motor, and other small crap that I can't remember that he blew out of proportion (most of which we took care of for him, that he seems to conveniently forget about), then proceeded to run the car into the ground, and blame us for it. Speaking of which, how much are you asking for it as it sits? I might be interested in it :) |

*Edit* I think ive found a nice shell to transfer my motor and trans to, so ill be back in a vr4 soon enough. Thanks for your interest though :) |
You test drove the car before you paid for it. If there were synchro problems at that time, we would have fixed it. We can't predict what will happen months down the road. And you're right, I don't know how you drove it, but I know how it drove when you bought it, and you were happy with it when you.
Congrats on finding a shell, and good luck with it. |

Besides the fact that the motor was rebuilt and spun a bearing, the issues I found were pretty crazy. - 3G lifters on the front bank, 1G small hole lifters on the back bank. (WTF?) - A stock brake line bent running around the front of the car because the original line ruptured. - Rear brake lines ruptured as soon as I went to bleed it (not really anybodies fault just age). - Grinding 5th synchro, because the trans has been "rebuilt" - Worst off all, the Tcase had more metal inside of it then I have ever seen in my life taking a Tcase apart. - Turbos were blown, front turbo feed line is cracked. Thats just the BIG things that stood out in my mind, to me it makes absolutely 0 difference, because I buy these things broken for a reason, and thats to fix all the issues the car has so I can have a nice car to drive. But for people that have not been around these cars for ages, I can see it being quite a hassle. Eitherway, like you said you guys do sell a lot of cars, and you guys have managed to stay in business for quite sometime now, so to me it says that at some point you guys must be turning out some decent cars. But for me and the one example I seen of Hans's work in the car I own, makes me thankful that the last 6 cars I bought have been blown up. I would buy parts from you guys, since you guys quite a bit of parts and do deal with them pretty well, but a running car, no thank you. |
I just sold my white gsx two days ago. I finally left this gsx go today. Reminds me of a ''barn find'', Because the 10ft of dust that was on the car: Car had a 6-bolt swap, 20g, and all basic bolt ons.

I love these cars! |
Cheer up. Here's another one I bought for the transmission two days ago: (Drove the car to my garage, The paint was really clean. Unfortunatly it was an n/a car and I only needed the trans for another car I had at my garage this past week. So as soon as I was finished, Each person that came over my garage, Decided to use a can of spray paint and mark it). I junked it yesterday now.
No idea what any of it really says. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j3...38762101_n.jpg |
HAHAHAHAH N/A neon pos lol

I sold the car to a father for his son as a first car. The father did the brake line, not us. I gave him a 5th gear syncro to fix the problem, I guess he never installed it. I never rebuilt that engine, it was a used engine from a wreck. So, who knows who worked on it and did those creative repairs. So, let's remember that people dick with cars after they are purchased from us. Lay the blame where it is deserved and not where you THINK it is deserved. I had no problems with you, but now I do.

Hans, of the roughly 330 posts you have on the site, I'd say at least 85%, maybe more, are of you and Emile defending yourselves or your shop and refuting multiple claims of the cars you've been involved with being hacked. That's saying something.
|
It says I don't care for coming to this site. I'm just saying what actually happened with that car that blackvr4 was talking about.
The guy I sold the car to came to the shop for the parts that were broken. That's why I know what was done to the car after I sold it. The parts were given to him for free. I even gave him a spare 93 turbo ecu. I don't want to have to come here to set the record straight, but the Internet is so easy to spew misinformation on. |
