:iagree:

Had a great time. It was good to meet more people from the forum. I definitely used up a lot of ammo, which I'm happy about. It's been a while since I've gotten a chance to really shoot a lot. I now have callouses on my hands from shooting.

I think instead of an AK next I'm going to buy a 'pistol grip pump'. haha. That thing was a lot of fun to shoot. It was surprisingly controllable for having no stock.

Thanks again everyone for letting me have a turn with your toys!

Had a great time today, let's do it again soon!

Oh, and to whoever owned that Sig 220; if you ever decide to sell it, I call first dibs!

DC2.2GSR 01-31-2011 03:39 AM

haha that was my friend Mitch. It's really nice. I should have gotten a P220 instead of my P229. It's slimmer, more like a 1911 so it's easier to carry and really comfortable to shoot.

His is called the P220 Carry Elite Dark. Basically , it's three words too much. A better name would have been "awesome". lol.

Munky 01-31-2011 02:46 PM

Sounds like you guys had a good time. Maybe next one I won't have prior obligations and will be able to make it.

Yeah, uh, glad you pointed this out to me. Im looking for a 9mm and was looking at 9mm USPs (maybe used, lower budget) and P2000s (higher budget)... but it seems that this is in the range too.

I gotta fire this thing some time before I make a decision because it looks slick and I've never fired a sauer before but heard nothing but good things.

92awdtsi 01-31-2011 05:09 PM

Just picked up a 33rd mag at cabelas today. It wasn't bad loading up until I got to around 30rds... the last 3 were pure hell. Anyway, here's a few pics

No, I think you're mistaken. You must have misremembered which store you bought it from. They don't sell those at family stores like Cabela's. They have an aquarium there... it's a great place to take your kids. You can only get those hi-caphighspeedautomaticmachinegundeathclips at Domestic Terrorist Supercenter (and sometimes Mexican DrugCartelmart has them in stock).

haha, well I couldn't believe my eyes either.. AND!!!! I had to walk past those evil black rifles to get to them.

SvicksTc 01-31-2011 05:49 PM

Mitch's sig was definitely a looker fun to shoot too :)

how much was the 33rd at cabelas

92awdtsi 01-31-2011 06:15 PM

about $40 bucks. Usually they are around 30ish but I figured, why not. I already made the drive up.

TheChamp 02-01-2011 11:19 AM

i wasn't a fan of the glock grip angle vs the rest of my carry weapons. it shot nice but just wasnt right for me.

Where did i get the glock?

92awdtsi 02-01-2011 01:12 PM

looks like you have a slight "pignose"

SvicksTc 02-01-2011 01:27 PM

slightly, but i think its the angle of the shot, because its not bad at all, typical on glocks and from what i know does not cause any problems at all :)

no markings on the slide at all

~Brian~ 02-01-2011 01:31 PM

No, I know where you got the glock... lol

I meant the custom tag

Munky 02-02-2011 03:14 AM

zombie prep 101...

First lesson: have friends with guns

second lesson: Take your knowledgeable friends advice and buy moar guns!

Third lesson: shoot said guns

Fourth lesson: kill impending zombies when they move in!

::class dismissed::

Munky 02-02-2011 03:37 AM

Buy moar guns yes...but not every gun your friends tell you to buy is a good choice/fit for you.

if you (not YOU but anyone) doesnt like the revolver I am trying to get him to buy you are CRAZY! it is literally the crispiest, best breaking, smoothest wheelgun I (and everyone that has shot it) have ever fired.

Plus... I wouldnt steer steve wrong... cmonnnnn

Munky 02-02-2011 04:00 AM

LoL wasn't saying you would. And I'm the wrong person to talk to about wheelguns. I've shot a lot over the years and have just never become a fan for some odd reason. The first pistol I ever shot was my dad's .357 snub nose revolver back when I was like 13. Thing kicked like a goddamn mule and I fell in love with shooting pistols...but I just never got into wheel guns.
