thanks man, i appreciate the help. i've talked to him and i'm sure i will again, he's a wealth of knowledge. we'll see how the roll goes and hopefully thats all it takes. like i said i'm not opposed to a little more camber but not a lot, because i need to keep more neg camber in the front than the rear and i dont want it to get out of hand. anyway... yup, update by next weekend hopefully.

He needs to build a motor. All the cool kids are doing it (like me)  |
you dont know what you are getting into jess. Youll be sending him 5 sets of rods, one for each block he is thinking of using, then youll get 4 returned. Then he'll buy one of those sets back and return the first on he kept. This will go on, and on, and on. haha.

I will be more then welcome to sell him 5 sets of rods. Then when he changes his mind (like usual), I will just convince him that we went out of business so no returns allowed  |

Went to Area1320 last night and had Ryan roll my rear fenders... and magically enough they are not rubbing any more (on the street at least). They were previously rubbing when I took an offramp at anything above the posted speed limit and also over every dip in the highway or big bump in the road, but no longer.
The tires are still sitting wider than the fenders are, but I guess for the distance the suspension compresses, I've got enough clearance now. Not sure if they'll rub when I auto-x but I'll find out soon enough. I finally have the wheels back on my car and I'm happy again :). |
Yeah, your welcome!
lol, good to hear, I'm sure even auto-x you should be fine. If you can go over a speed bump with them your probably good. I want to see a pic, just to see where your tires are at! Good that you're happy. |
get a pic bryan... sounds like good ish

ha doesnt really look much different from the outside... same height and everything
....ok and i'm back from the fire alarm that just went off at work? why does it have to be so loud? and why did we go back inside before i had a chance to talk to the super cute girl in the next section over from me? anyway... yeah same height, etc, although the car looks higher to me with the RPF-1s and 235/40/17s than it looks with the STi BBS and 225/45/17s... not sure if the width, offset, or tire sidewall are the reason, or maybe a bit of each. i'm going to remeasure the height all around but probably keep it right about the same spot it is now, then go get my alignment rechecked to make sure all is well. my car has often been photo neglected in the past so i'll try to change that this summer... and of course i'll post the results up here. |
Any rubbing yet???
we still need to get together and talk about some things ;) oh and to give you your wrenches back lol |
wow hot car

looks very good...love the new wheels

i wonder where i can get those two red things in the grill and what they are for? potential to look good in the nsx grill. Des. |
the red things are german made Hella brand Horns.
and yes, they are hella loud. you can get them from JNJ associates, a vendor here on TST. |
Those are really loud Hella horns. Ebay has them dirt cheap.
|
butttt supporting forum vendors is definitely the way to go for the top service and support
that would be great if the hella craze shifted over to NSX's... ha. |
