Luckily I clutched in, held the wheel straight (arm always locked into the door) and didn't hit a single person or damage anything other than a tire. TO me, a 50 dollar tire is a small price to pay in that situation.

Way toooo many people get ont here and pretned they are driving down 22 to Sheetz...it's no joke with FWD cars, especially ones with power. I always make sure the car is a straight as possible, and double make sure I can grasp the wheel tight, while 'locking' (jamming) my elbow into the door as a secondary restraint.

Yup, FWD is no joke, and I can't imagine AWD is at all any fun. I tune my own car so I've made a ton of passes and when the wheels are spinning at 130mph there is a lot of potential for a lot of things to go wrong.

RWD is fun though, just tighten it down, step on the gas and go vroom. Just have to watch with Auto 350zs that you don't almost put it in R when switching to N... heh. :-p

That would be awesome. I know there are still some serious cars in NEPA that I'd like to see down for the day.

You got it. Just let me know via PM when you send the money.

I just want to BUMP the **** out of this. So does anyone who is attending think they will be the highest horsepower of the day?
Can you beat a 600+HP E55 AMG tuned by Carlson? I know that will be there. What about a 997 Turbo Tuned by Powertech around 550+all wheel HP? that will be there too. If you see this benefit and can beat this HP and do not come to help out Mike, I (a newb to the site) get to call you a big crusty vagina.

These guys legit paid & reserved a spot? I've seen cars like this before on the dyno but obviously its a nice treat and hope they make it out. Mite have to convince a dsm/evo friend or two to knock em out lol

Variety is always more fun than a bunch of turbo cars at a dyno day:D

My brother is coming with a big block trans am that's built. He's trying to see some numbers on that. Hope everyone bring ear plugs hahaha

DPancoast 02-19-2011 08:56 AM

obviously the proper things to bring are earplugs and change of clothes for after so you don't have to smell like exhaust. aka awesome.

akley88 02-19-2011 10:47 AM

If you definitely plan on dynoing, I would recommend prepaying. At this point we're not entirely sure how big of a turnout this is gonna be, so from your point of view it'd be wise to reserve a spot if you definitely plan on running. Walk in's will be accepted, but prepaid cars have priority. Plus reserving a spot gives us a better idea of how big of a turnout to expect.

I also need volunteers to help run the food/drink/merch for the day. Anyone who would be interested spending the day at R/T to help run this thing, pm me.
