Clay baring is such a pain in the ass... I used the meguiars clay bar kit last weekend. My car was FILTHY. Each clay bar they give you is supposed to be good for 3-4 cars before its too dirty to use again... by the time I was done with mine I couldn't get a clean piece of clay at all.

what the hell...I would never use the same clay bar for more than 1 car.
But the results after claybar, polish, wax = feels like fresh paint again.

i remember claybaring the rust off my rear bumper, that was fun. lol. it does work pretty well tho.

As stated, it's a pure pain in the ass tedious job, but the results are magnificent.
