its a fake can from SpikesTactical, the long barrel agitates me it looks better this way I think until the barrel gets lobed off

Im taking the barrel assembly apart, local smith is doing the barrel work, im reinstalling it

Good luck, be sure to let us know how it turns out (and how you get around the gas port issue, edit: I should say gas block) and whether or not it runs and cycles reliably. And if it doesn't work out, let us know if FN sends you a new barrel.

Both. Just got the light yesterday, have a light-bearing Raven Concealment rig on the way to see how it carries with the light.

Also am thinking about jumping to an M&P from the XD, so it might be pushed out of carry status soon.

i used to be into flashlights pretty heavily. I am a complete & total Sure-Fire whore.


during the day I carry a Sure-Fire E1B backup light along with my sig.
at night I carry the Sure-Fire X400 Weapon light W/ Laser
I also have the Sure-Fire E2D LED Defender,
the Sure-Fire G2 Nitrolon


I really want one of there new T1A titan micro lights, but its a hard price to justify at $239.

all of them have the Streamlight weapon lights in stock or at least used to when i was looking to purchase one a few months back. call ahead but most of them should have a model in stock to try out.
