No reason not to be, anyone on this site has the ability/possibility of some day owning such cars.

I hope to have the white M3 with the competition wheels as a project/side car. Doesn't mean I can't/won't be driving anything as my daily. I just love the E46 M3 so much I don't care when I have one, no matter what it takes. I just need to have one at some point in my life.

GTI?GLI? the TDI? their cars are fine as long as you take care of them just as any other car. just like wrx's and their glass transmissions(?). or vw timing belts.

The '02s had crappy transmissions. So maybe thats what he is refering to. Note the (?)....

thank you. i dont know lots about them. just like how they look/sound.

I know when I had my VW I had some issues. My climate control lights never worked right and the battery was always dead. It was just an all around piece of crap. I got rid of it because I was unhappy with it and wanted something reliable, something I would have to worry about being stuck somewhere in.
