i took it and passed it in October, i actually thought it was pretty easy

Hey guys, long time lurker here. I'm a junior in chemE (^^I'll be taking the FE eventually, not looking forward to it...) and I drive a black honda prelude. I don't drive downtown too much, so I wouldn't be surprised if I haven't been spotted.

Anyway, I got some new wheels waiting for me at home and I want to roll my fenders ASAP. Anyone have a fender roller I could borrow/rent or know someone who does?

Also with this nice weather starting I've got the itch to cruise around and find some twisty roads. I found a good one this weekend that follows a river for a few miles, but haven't been out since. LMK if anyone wants to cruise around some weekend. I'll be here for two months this summer too, so I'll probably be bored eventually then too.

Anyway, here's my car as it sits now, LMK what you think.

Looks good man, I actually think I've seen you around a time or two. I am actually debating buying/renting a fender roller right now too since I need one for my S. I think if you need one too we should just try and rent one at a time where we can both use it so we can just do it for half the price, rather than each spending the full amount at separate times. Let me know what you think.

And do you happen to live in the Briarwood apartments right off of whitehall? I'm just wondering, for some reason I feel like that's where I've seen your car! Anyway, welcome!

The car looks great. The 98-01 Preludes are my favorite Honda's. I tried to buy one years ago, but they are too expensive for the mileage.

I thought 50% of the FE exam was easy, 25% was moderate, and 25% was very hard. I had trouble with Fluids, Thermo, Statics, and Dynamics since I took them in my Sophomore year 3 years ago. I forgot most of it. And I only studied for a month. Make sure you study starting at least 3 months ahead.

Yeah I'd definitely be interested! Are you thinking of renting from this website? I googled fender roller rental and saw nlm rents them, which looks more legit. link. But yeah, LMK what you're thinking. PM me if you want.

Thanks, it's one of my favorite hondas too ;)

Yeah I can imagine that old stuff being hard. Imagine if you took the test another 5 years later, I'd look like a different language lol

Ha I don't think you guys were seeing me. I live at University Terrace. There are a few other preludes around, but I think only 1 other modded one, and his is black too...

russiankid 04-17-2012 08:59 PM

I guess that's the one I am seeing. I think yours is lower.

Noodile 04-17-2012 09:19 PM

Shelowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

07cobaltLScoupe 04-18-2012 07:20 PM

just a hint to the guys who will be taking the FE, all i studied was the manual they provide to you and that was for about 2 weeks. knowing how to use that and where certain things are in that makes the exam so much easier, truthfully i didn't think it was bad at all. even what i took years before
