Like any normal person I read the manual which says I need 5W20. I use royal purple. I haven't found 5W20 RP anywhere local, only 5W30. Turns out I'm supposed to run 5W30 anyway and they only switched for fuel mileage ratings or some BS. The lead engineer for the 3v SOHC said he would NEVER run 5W20 in a modular V8 ESPECIALLY not the 4Vs. Chalk that up as another fail for Ford!

i run 10w40 proline pep boys oil, its what makes the fast cars go faster.

If I had a ford(lol at that happening) Ide forget the manual and call Ciotti.

I think in 10 years when my engine blows im going to run a Dodge 440, with a procharger and stage 9 NOS. Direct port injection propane and a turbo timer. I'll probably do it in my miata, buying another shell seems like a dumb idea.
