how's the working out going?

i'm cringing at my bank account after last night, but i'm about to head out for some muscle food and gonna be hard boiling eggs for breakfast so i can down 5-6 for breakfast w/o thinking about it. more steaks for dinner and probably some thin sliced chicken...

actually think i'll roll down to BJ's and check the place out and see what things cost...

they are in the washer right now, pics later.

working out is going good, and yeah i hear ya on spending loot. Food is expensive when your eating so much everyday. I've been doing a lot of chicken and steak, and yeah eggs for breakfast. I've been told that the protein I am using in my shakes isn't the best for me and that I need stuff with more carbs. A friend suggested protein powder called "up your mass". ever heard of it?

Scapegoat 11-23-2008 03:10 PM

indeed... not one i can use at work though :( boobies everywhere!

also... i've decided to forget chicken exists in my apartment... i'm gonna use lean ground turkey meat instead.

I can throw a couple lbs in a pan and pan fry it with veggies and take that to work... easier to eat, tastes better... not as nasty as chicken meat...

so i've got a pretty good plan for eating...

5-6 hardboiled eggs in the morning, whole wheat toast

can of tuna and a banana, or apple between breakfast/lunch

gotta figure out how much to measure, but ground turkey and veggies mix, maybe whole grain rice mixed in

post-workout shake around 6, using chocolate soy milk to mask the horrible flavor

steak and either mixed veggies or sweet potato

I think that is a plan i can stick to, and allow myself to cheat when i go out for food, which is rare... and should give me more than enough protein and veggies for working out and gaining muscle. I just want to get into better shape, get rid of the bit of fat on my stomach and get my upper body a bit bigger and tone up my legs...

not looking to get superman-ish... i like my body size... but like my wardrobe... it needs a "pick me up"

never heard of it... i've got "Cytogainer lean muslce maximizer"

580 calories/serving
54g protein
79g carbs

I've been using about half a serving... but i'm going to up it to the full serving this week.

tomorrow i'm going back to costco... it was a mad house today so i left...

so my first day at the gym this week will be wednesday after work.

i'm making hardboiled eggs now though, and will be making the ground turkey/mixed veggies mix after that.

but it tastes good :o

with it, i can down the shake in no time...

and I can keep it at work since we've got fridges...

have you something to recommend? I'm really bad about not drinking it all if it doesn't taste good...

though, i guess i can wait to drink it till when i get home...

i used to mix milk, oats, peanut butter, banana, and the protein powder in a blender... i don't have a blender though

well... eagles suck cock...

but lets see...

yesterday I worked, then hung out with charly in old city and shopped... randomly kinda ran into a cute gay chick from work, who was with her family... so there wasn't really any "hello"... more like... "do i work with that person?" (awaiting the gay rumors to start at work now) spent almost $400 on jeans...

uh, then went and drank at Susie's and laughed at their racist dog... today...

boring, have work to do... but getting my food ready for the week, or at least the first few days.

oh, and i'm wearing my new jeans right now breaking them in so they won't be soooo stiff tomorrow during work.

they feel great though, so much better than levis...

lownslow95 11-23-2008 03:22 PM

not looking forward for two days of school, and then drive back to the area on wednesday.

there are studies to prove that regular intake of soy protein may give you b*tch tits haha but seriously not good for the overall hormone balance for guys

you don't want something like milk to slow down the digestion of the protein for a pwo shake. just stick with water for pwo shakes.

skip the raw eggs in your shake. when an egg is raw, the bioavailibility of the protein in it is a measly 50% whereas in a cooked egg it's 90+%
