Werd! That's why I don't have pets. I don't have enough patience for that ****.

Liz's dog pukes, poops, eats carpet, you name it and her dog has done it, and she just hugs and loves her like no one else.

Well, to be fair, I do all those things too. So I guess I see your point. LOL

I have 6 dogs... so imagine what it's like living with me. You can be sure no one gets in this house without sounding the "alarm."
All of them are housebroken, except my one puppy, who's only a few months old has had one accident in a month so, he's ok.
They don't puke and they don't chew stuff they're not allowed to. I don't tolerate that. I train them with redirection
They want to chew on your hand or your CD or your couch, you give them something else to chew on
Too many dogs die from obstructions when they chew and swallow things they shouldn't
I've known of a few dogs that chewed socks.. I knew one that died from swallowing ONE string
They're all extremely well behaved, except Roxie loves people too much and wants to kiss everyone
And my baby Doberman likes people...for now.
And I'm trying to keep it that way, cause they're naturally protective of family and suspicious of strangers

Damn Nick, you make it sound like Bliss is horrible :(

The only time she pukes or poops inside is when her stomach is upset. And she only chewed the one carpet piece b/c it had food on it  Labs are obsessed with food.

You forgot to mention how wonderful she listens and that she is a certified therapy dog :-p And she tolerates hugs from you alll the time :-p

She's an awesome dog and yes, I love her.

ASIAN JUL 11-15-2008 03:48 PM

TDI? That's awesome.

Kerplunk105 11-15-2008 03:55 PM

No, bright and beautiful therapy dogs. I couldn't find any TDI testers near me and my trainer did the B&B.

What breeds do you have besides the mix and the Dobie?

Oh gotcha gotcha. That's awesome, though!!

3 parti cocker spaniels and a toy mix who drives me absolutely insane

Kerplunk105 11-15-2008 04:01 PM

I want an blue roan colored English Cocker. I think a lot of the Americans are so over bred, they get a little nutty. I've seen so many that are quite nippy.

ASIAN JUL 11-15-2008 04:04 PM

thankfully none of our dogs have rage syndrome, they're not solid colored though so that helps
All of the cockers are up there in age
Not to be morbid, but when they pass
I'm probably going to get a red Doberman bitch

Kerplunk105 11-15-2008 04:06 PM

My Lab Bliss is almost 9. When she's....gone (cue ) I will most likely get another sporting breed dog-spaniel, setter. Or maybe a Boxer.

I really like Greyhounds but they arent hardy enough for me.

ASIAN JUL 11-15-2008 04:08 PM

Ah, gotcha gotcha. Labs are cool, I'm just more of a working group dogs kinda girl lol
I like the natural protection streak they have in them, and I'm hoping Kaleb keeps it
But I want to refine it so that he knows when good is good and bad is bad
I wanna get a CGC and put him through a WAE
