seriously what a freaking joke, if every single thread on this forum stayed on topic, there would be half as many posts. all the info you need about our meet is on the front page, plain and simple. if thats to hard to find, you probably are not on the internet, and you probably cant even drive to get to the meet.

It really isn't a new rule. It's been a TST rule since the site started.

i think the reason troll is enforcing this cause if u think about it makes it much easier to moderate the thread. when u have like 10+ pages showing up per day, i bet it gets tuff for the mods to police it and enforce the said rules that are being broken.

I do see why it is important to stay "relatively" on topic. Coming from me, I like off topic. But rules are rules so just do. this..

I'm really not concerned with quantity at all, but instead quality. There are plenty of posts that could disappear and I would never miss.

These are the same rules that have always been in place here, nothing is different except the fact that someone is asking you to follow them for the first time in a while. You can loosely keep things on subject, you can talk with friends, etc. and it doesnt have to be only meet related, but this really isnt a place to discuss anything and everything. Keep it (loosely) related to the meet either past, present, or future please.
This was brought to light after numerous complaints were received in recent time of people talking about illegal activities which we are strongly against.

motorvated tried to make a new thread the other day, and it got closed. so what is he supposed to do, make a thread telling people he is going to the flyers game? that will get closed too. i think its awesome that he goes to so many games, i wish i could.

The bottom line is that there are a whole bunch of us that frequent the Best Buy meet who are close friends and this has always been our thread to talk amongst ourselves. Because we're actually friends and not just car guys that hang out once per week at the meet droning on about air fuel ratios and wheel offsets, off topic rants, name calling, and all other sorts of hilarity became more and more common in here. We do still want a place to do that which is good for you because it generates tons more hits on your site and thus more clicks on your sponsor's banners, and if this thread can't be where that happens it would be great if we could have another thread to do that in such as the one I created and linked to above.
