thoughts are its ****ing awesome

Ive been looking at 50bmg rifles lately and im going to get one because well its a .50bmg but it just blows that you cant just take it to a range and get down, only a couple places I know of actually let you shoot them.

I want a Cheytec or some purpose built sniper rifle an m82a1 is always in the back of my mind too

what store is that rifle at it looks like sportsmans connection or whatever in new holland

Claytons, make him an offer. BTW, it is new.

The BA50 is still the best bang for the buck bolt action repeater .50BMG on the market though.

Never saw this thread before. Glock 19 w/ Uncle Mikes IWB holster for daily grind. Taurus PT 1911 for whatever. GSG-5 w/ retractable stock for when I need to blow off some steam and don't feel like spending a ton on ammo.

What make & model is that? And where did you get your grips from?

ITSTOCK 07-26-2009 11:38 AM

It looks like a Rock Island Armory. Try www.pafoa.org/forum for classifieds to sell it on.

den9 07-26-2009 04:21 PM

i wonder how the m99 is on recoil, since it doesnt have a blow back bolt. i wish i had 5 grand to drop, althought id probably buy a custom 700 so i can shoot it more often.

den9 07-26-2009 04:30 PM

our annual booze and bullets weekend up the mountains, not many people showed up, but this is what it came down to, we even have a butter knife on display but you cant see it. if everyone brought all their guns, we could of filled up 4 of those tables easily.

nismozenki757 07-26-2009 11:23 PM

Its a rock island armory. I acquired it a while back and it is a great gun, there is none of that rattling noise some of the cheaper 1911's make. The grips came from ebay.

My fiance and I finally got up to my family's cabin for the weekend.

Munky 07-27-2009 09:34 PM

Thinking about trading in my GSG-5 in towards an AR-15 this week. I don't wanna but I'd rather have the AR right now and pick up another .22 later down the road.
