see but if its ur daily do u really want a welded cage?

nevermind u drive a miata id have a cage in that no matter what lol

Whats the difference between having a welded and a bolted one? Aside from the whole one sucks and looks retarded thing...

motorvated 03-19-2009 01:26 AM

yea..my wrangler was a DD. That cage was welded, not a bolt in cage. You're point is irrelevant anyway. The car posted is obviously NOT a DD..its a track car with a show bar.

bolt in = ricebar

motorvated 03-19-2009 01:48 AM

theres a difference between them bolting INTO the car, and them bolting together. See picture for explanation of unsafe.

Sure it bolts TO the car..but first of all it uses the seatbelt mounts. theres a list of why its a hardparker bar

Why would I do that...to spend extra time and money fitting something redundant for my car?

Exactly. There's really no need for a cage on a DD...rollbar for an open-top, fine, but it's not like the car is going to roll repeatedly off of a cliff

///chrism3 03-19-2009 02:03 AM

depends how strong the gusts of winds are
