Charly I have to give you props on your style and damn you must spend more on jeans than I do on EVERYTHING
if you think about it though... $300 for jeans that you're going to wear nearly every day for 6 months isn't costly at all... and thats just to break them in. i've spent more on jeans in the past year, year and a half, and my jeans are falling apart.

going by the above logic, that expensive pair of jeans pretty much takes the place of a few pairs that won't last as long or look as good. spending a little extra on clothing is making more sense...

higher quality, long lasting, looks better... and isn't make in china or pakistan

this is true, and is what I tell everyone.

all the jeans I buy are hand made and will a couple years with proper care

I totally agree with that. But, if it comes to paying my car payment or buying jeans for the same price...I'm gonna get the $50 pair over the $300 pair. I's poor. :(

The most I have ever paid for a pair of jeans is like $35 and they have lasted just as long as $300 jeans.
