most japanese selvedge denim will come with long inseams so you can stack them. if you get them hemmed, I'd say, go no shorter than 34".. stacking is fun!

so you wants??

Scapegoat 11-10-2008 11:46 PM

is there an art to this... stacking?

mrchariybrown 11-10-2008 11:47 PM

see how the inseam bunches up near the guy's feet? that's stacking.. basically with more and more wear, the stacking becomes more and more compact and looks nicer and nicer.. TEEHEEHEE!

Scapegoat 11-10-2008 11:49 PM

I was about to ask.... have you two considered possibly going shopping together instead of having a back and forth on TST? I mean, not that I mind, but, wouldn't it be 100x easier? Lol

if not, i'm sure we'll find something at deep sleep.

I just want to be sure they fit well... the 38" inseam is a little but of a concern for me. otherwise i'm certainly interested in them

charly, any sites that go into detail about this "don't wash your jeans" thing...

the inseam shouldn't be a concern, you can always get them hemmed.. the only time someone should be concerned about inseam is if it's too short :)

that's good. only thing I would change is, most I'd wash is every 3 months..

and that spray bottle thing and starch.. strike that part

mrchariybrown 11-11-2008 12:24 AM

btw, you won't find $200 denim at deep sleep.. except maybe the few pairs of sugar cane union stars they have left.

most of the denim they have is lower quality raw denim in the $100-150 range

they don't hold higher quality denim brands that I like.. www.selfedge.com does, but they're all $250+ I think.. including those imperial dukes
