Its probably not that big a deal to put on. When I did Susie's lip on the legacy it too maybe 50 little tiny screws

It was gay. It was about as Corky Romano as it gets. Did you see the Ralliart behind me?

i have to take off the bumper, then remove the foglight housing, air dam, lower grill & the sensors for the headlights. (none of this is a big deal just slightly time consuming)

then i have to mark 18 holes in specific locations along the face of the bumper. (thats where i get nervous) pre-drill with a 3mm, then drill with a 7mm and file down the holes. basically im making a perforated smiley face.

then attach the lip (BFD at this point) and reassemble everything.

that makes it sound soooo over complicated

drilling the bumper isn't too hard, you cringe a little at first, but you'll get over it.

when i mounted the lip on the probe way back in the day for the first time it was scary, but once things started coming together and it looked a ton better it was worth it

Buster 11-10-2008 05:11 PM

eh, I live for that crap lol. I bet you have a garage to do it in.

ally 11-10-2008 05:16 PM

i don't. i live in an apartment. but my friend Dan has a garage and i'm going to do it at his house on sunday. i have another lip to put on my hatch wing but thats just on with 3M. it looks sweet but the paint job was garbage so i gotta send it back for new paint.

Scapegoat 11-10-2008 05:18 PM

so dan is gonna drill your bumper?

ally 11-10-2008 05:19 PM

lol no im going to drill my own. he's just giving me a place to work.

Oakes 11-10-2008 05:21 PM

I offer "massage" therapy, if you're interested let me know. You will feel refreshed after just one of my sessions.
