I cant believe all the Hondas being stolen. Scarey considering I would have taken my car there if I werent out of the country now, and then I'd probably be car-less too....

that many cars being stolen at once is just rediculous. i dont care if the goddamn keys were in their ignitions, it still shouldnt have happened.

Meh, this is the main reason I didnt buy a Honda. As much as I wanted to get away from DSM's (and techincally, I did), stuff like this keeps happening.
Before the Gaylant, I wanted to buy a small EG hatch and show it some love with a worked b18c and a decent sized turbo. When Andy told me it would get stolen in a week or less I thought he was kidding untill he opened my eyes on how bad it is to own one of these in NYC.
What I never understood is, why the **** do people steal these things so much? Why dont they go after srt4's or eclipses, or (insert car name here)?

Its easy to steal. It's easy to take apart. The parts are in high demand on the black market. Most of them are modded. And did I mention that they are very easy to steal?

A joke to steal. I don't think Honda saw this trend coming at all. The show Bait Car on CourtTV uses mostly integras/civics. All the parts are interchangable pretty much which is another reason.
Not to mention you can pound a screwdriver in the ignition and turn to start it.

lmao. all too true. u know what i almost bought maybe a week before i got my eclipse last year? a 98' integra LS. it was low. clean. 5 spd. did i mention clean? woulda had it if the owner wasnt an idiot n wanted me to wait 2 weeks to pick it up after i paid them the full amount for the car :rotfl:
its really a good thing that i picked up the 3g. it really opened my eyes to how damn slow most hondas really are. but dont get me wrong. there are fast hondas out there. just not many that i can think of that really matter to even speak about lmao. n ya know i know ppl with sum hondas that are fast, but half the parts on the car were never original - which explains why they can be so-called "cheap" to make really fast. U steal the parts!!! nothin like 5-finger discount  !!!!
NOT!!
