While agreed, It's still good to have plenty of variety.

I happen to have a wide variety of quality clothes in a decent quantity.

I actually didn't go back and read what they said... I just assumed it was as gay as everything else we talk about in here.

i guess i'm looking for a mix of punk/retro and casual business. Something that skirts the realm of "decent work wear", is still comfy for everyday use and sets me apart from the rest of the pubes.

I can get away with just about anything at work short of overtly sexual images or words.

I been eying up obnoxious belts... either weird colors or larger belt buckles...

shoes with color too, or real worn out ragity boots w/ half tucked in jeans...

ps: i forgot how good baked sweet potatoes are...

there's definitely a right way and a wrong way to do retro/punk..

I'd sway away from buying anything with a too much colors going everywhere.. color is fine, but when there's color just to be loud, then there's a problem..

I'm not sure exactly which way you want to go with the retro/punk look, so I'm just going to throw a few brands out there..

wrath arcane - business casual with a huge bit of flair

april 77 - they do the retro/punk look very well

hysteric glamour - they usual have some nice retro pieces in their lines

variety is nice.. but 75 shirts is overboard (and that's still an understatement)

10 shirts is plenty for variety given you have a nice collection of knits, outerwear, sweaters, etc

awesome, looking now.

I'm not into just being loud. Hell, most of the stuff i wear now is all earthy tones... i've got olive skin so its what works best (or so i hear?)

Oakes 11-09-2008 10:43 PM

$319 for jeans? Hello car payment.

Scapegoat 11-09-2008 10:43 PM

I like hysteric glamour's $100+ shirts...

Scapegoat 11-09-2008 10:45 PM

It is, however my Uncle always got a bunch of top brand shirts in bulk for buiness attire/suits, he just always threw in a bunch for myself. So I cant complain, they just added up.

I almost want a change of style myself, I have a TAD bit of interest in the abercrombie/hollister look but with alot less of the gay. Not the tight tight shirts and the giant letters, but something clean and sophisticated...which isnt AF/Hollister really.

if they're gonna last, look good, and be comfy... a few hundred. Shoes... $30 lol... but i know a good quality pair of boots that is going to last is going to cost.

its quickly looking like i'm going to be saving a couple grand to renew my wardrobe. Probably after x-mas as I've got to buy my brother and sister a Wii and some games

TROLL 11-09-2008 10:51 PM

you're not really going from jeans and tshirts to $120 tshirts are you? i dont support that...

TROLL 11-09-2008 10:53 PM

i think there should be a 'mrchariy, please critique my wardrobe' thread where people post photos of themselves in various outfits and get torn to shreds, and then he tells you how to dress to impress the shallow bitzes.

like dr. phil, but different.

~Brian~ 11-09-2008 10:53 PM

$120 for a tshirt? thats insane.
