bape is horrible and tacky. there's no personality to the brand. it's just the same sh*t reproduced over and over again with different colors and idiots will buy it because rappers and hiphop artists talk about it.

ally 11-09-2008 09:39 PM

i dont buy the **** but a friend of mine designs some of it.

mrchariybrown 11-09-2008 09:39 PM

definitely one of the worst hypebeast brands to date

edit: your friend must get paid well

ally 11-09-2008 09:42 PM

gladly.. first, tell me what look you're going for..

eg, you can name a famous person, profession, or a combination of words that best describe what you are trying to achieve

for example, the look I go for is "japanese-inspired work wear meets laid back, but clean streetwear"

Oakes 11-09-2008 10:17 PM

I'm like Scapegoat and Ally, I just wear t-shirts, thermals, jeans and shorts.

However, when I go fancy, I go fancy. I have about 75 different button down dress shirts, 30+ pairs of jeans/khakis/dress slacks. All from the likes of Brooks Brothers, Bachrach, etc.

quality > quantity

not sure what verizon has to offer, but i love the G1... though i wouldn't recommend it just it. wait for the next generation...

huh... never really thought to describe the kind of look i'm going for... but i guess that is the best way to meld styles together to get something concise.

i guess i'm looking for a mix of punk/retro and casual business. Something that skirts the realm of "decent work wear", is still comfy for everyday use and sets me apart from the rest of the pubes.

I can get away with just about anything at work short of overtly sexual images or words.

I been eying up obnoxious belts... either weird colors or larger belt buckles...

shoes with color too, or real worn out ragity boots w/ half tucked in jeans...

ps: i forgot how good baked sweet potatoes are...
