yeah i was debating between drupal and wordpress. im going to have a friend of mine d/l my content for me. he has fiber going straight to his building with no connections along the way. he can download everything in like 10/15 minutes. mine would take quite a bit longer. and the upload time is stupid long so it will be easier for him to just upload it all once i switch servers.

wordpress isn't a true cms, though i don't have much experience with it. From my understanding it is simply a blog management system.

Drupal is a full fledged, powerful, cms tool.

**** blogging. lol. what am i gonna do try and write something people want to read? im not that narcissistic. lol. i just want a place to host photos for clients, future clients to see as a portfolio, and for myself. i also have a secondary site for my car to promote my sponsors and shows and stuff. so i'll look closer at drupal.

drupal sounds like a better fit. But its not a simple plug and play. Modules need to be installed and set up. The one problem w/ drupal is its ability to fit into just about any requirement... so it does need to be set up by someone. Joomla is another cms tool that is a bit more straightforward to use, i don't like it nearly as much as drupal though.

so not something i could figure out on my own eh? i'm usually ok with this kinda stuff but if its really confusing i'll just get pissed an frustrated.

joomla may be a better option then... Drupal requires a certain bit of experience with it as out of the box it doesn't support a whole lot... but has a ton of modules that are downloadable for it... but you need to know which ones to use.

I'd recommend Joomla if you want to be able to get in and play around with the basic software and be able to use it.

Or you can pay me $45/hr to set up Drupal :)

QUICK, someone help!

which one to get?

sugar cane denim shirt?

OR

flat head black mint shirt?

one's $170 and the other is $205 so price difference is minimal
