Cars Don't Need To Move.

Plastik Racer 11-04-2009 04:12 PM

I've seen this picture before I giggle everytime I see, I hope people don't follow this picture. Well if you don't want your car to move go for it hahaha..

To support my prior statement of "Cars don't Need to Move":

It's awesome.

I'd love to have it.

But I could never drive it.

How would one go over something as small as a pebble?

JKZ 11-04-2009 05:14 PM

Honestly, I don't know.

If I had to guess, I'd say it wasn't on bags. The reason I say this is because cars that are on bags usually have a huge amount of negative camber when they're in the lowered position and most Japanese IRS cars (especially Nissan's, not that this is one) gain negative camber when they squad, but this JZX100 has minimal negative camber front and rear which leads me to believe that that's the permanent stance of the car because if it was on Bags when it was raised the car would surely have at least a degree or two of positive camber...

Plastik Racer 11-04-2009 06:33 PM

Its bags, with new McPherson strut bags they don't camber like crazy anymore. With the new coilover design it allows for alot of adjustablity.

here you can see what little camber change happens..

///chrism3 11-04-2009 06:39 PM

ever wonder why it takes your parts so long to get to you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8ZmOgMlyRE hahahaha..wtf maybe this is why my car aint done yet

JKZ 11-04-2009 07:24 PM

So thats why my parts are still back ordered... When I worked in a warehouse we had to go to forklift class... Guess not in mother Russia

And Go Phillies!!! Wooooooo

motorvated 11-04-2009 07:43 PM

Go phillies!!!! and yea, not every bagged car has -9 degrees of camber when layin frame.

Kevin S 11-04-2009 07:49 PM

haha fail, hate to be that guy. Though it did look like the accelerator stuck cause even when he hit the beam it was burnin em up

catbed 11-04-2009 09:13 PM

saw a news story on that video. apparently it was boxes and boxes of whiskey or some such alcohol. over a million dollars worth of alcohol i think they said.

JKZ 11-04-2009 09:29 PM

Well thats why he crashed the forklift lmao he was drunk haha
