Hopefully, he'll have it then. Needs to brake it in for a customer before doing work to it so he thought it be fun to bring it by the meet. Its even my fav color: Cyber Gray: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...3/zr1-6001.jpg There also supercharging the guys brand new Camaro SS. Wants it to the worlds fastest Camaro. Should be sick too. |
wow, dudes got money...lol, I love the cyber gray color as well. Can't wait! Maybe I'll bring the camera out..
|
Hoping for a good turnout. I wonder if all the other message boards know about the new spot.
|
I'm more curious as to how fast it will fill up.

Yeah I considered an SS Camaro in Cyber Grey until I realized you can't touch one for less than $5k over MSRP. So I bought a C5 Z. Its blue and I will most likely drive it to the meet if he brings the ZR1. So feel free to swing by and say hi. Your pics of cars at the meet are awesome so it'd be cool to get a nice one of the ZR1. |
haha, much appreciated. what time do you think you'll be arriving to the meet? I hope before sundown.

you know...you make a valid point...I think sundown nowadays is like 7:30-8. Doing a shoot before the meet is fine by me as well. Go somewhere nicer than just a parking lot.

There are people out there that want to (and have the means to) be the first one their block to get a ZR1, GT-R, Ford GT, (insert your favorite limited production car) etc. What he paid is about the norm. I was at Kerbeck when someone picked up one for $155k. I have a family member who works at a Ford dealer - they sold two Ford GTs for $250k. when they first came out. They MSRPed around $120k. Law of supply and demand. I guess at least with the ZR1, even paying the premium, you are still getting a car capable of running against more expensive cars. ANd still get a 6 yr/100k factory warrantly. That is if GM is still around..... |

150k sounds about right to me. Dealer markup's a bitch.
|
sometimes you gotta cut out the middle man and go straight to the factory. A friend of mine did that with his tiburon and he saved thousands compared to the dealers.

haha it'll be hard to find nice cars used as the economy is making people keep there cars that they would upgrade every year.

I saw a cyclone and typhoon. I think that one of the cyclone forums pitched in money and saved it from being crushed.
