Seriously, WTF? I don't get it. Fewer and fewer people go all-out with decorating every year, and every year the advertising starts sooner and sooner and ends later and later. I guess it's like "Oh ****, there's snow somewhere in the country, it's Xmas!" Soon, Xmas will totally replace "winter" as a season and stretch from Oct. 31 to Feb 2.
