orly now? they jack up their prices like whoa but got this for a good price which surprised me.

FazdaGt 10-07-2009 03:38 PM

yep... and yeah the prices are always on the upper end, but knowing them personally the piece of mind that they won't sell junk is worth it usually.

I disliked my salesman, but I wanted the car and Mike and his Dad told me it was a good choice so the d-bag made the sale.

I think he was fired a few weeks later haha

Well it's been a month since my accident. First offer from the insurance company was $1999.97 for me to keep the car. Settled at $3868 and keeping the car.

who do you have? that is a ridiculously low offer even to finish with. I hope I get alot more than that.

Thats actually not bad. Kbb and Nada only put the car around $3,300-$4,200 depending on the miles. I used an average of about 140,000 miles to get a price. So figure they charged about 10% to buy the car back, so roughly they valued the car around $4,300. Insurance companies don't got off of what a cars street value is, to them they are not going to pay more money just because the average every day person will.

Chair-Force 10-08-2009 03:35 AM

yeah but it was a super rare color.
less then $4k sounds really low for such an incredibly rare car.

Kevin 10-08-2009 12:00 PM

hahahaha

i actually like these cars, a guy i know use to have the same one in blue back in the day, it was pretty decent. i really don't like that lip though, they look the best all stock, but just my opinion

97TurboDSM 10-08-2009 05:33 PM

i didnt put the lip on there and i dont have a stock one atm.

Honduh 10-08-2009 07:54 PM

Man I wish someone would crash into my car so I can get more than its worth AND still get to part the ****er out. (yes im jealous)

Glad it worked out for you!

97TurboDSM 10-08-2009 07:57 PM

97TurboDSM 10-08-2009 09:19 PM

lulz. dually noted.

Vtecepidemic 10-08-2009 11:06 PM

was the right quarter resprayed too? in the one pic on the link you posted it looks like it doesnt match either.

97TurboDSM 10-08-2009 11:22 PM

the dealer was saying something about one of the quarter panels but i wasnt really paying attention. the way the yellow paint fades makes it hard to keep all the panels the same. im not worried about it. a good detail and i'll be good to go.

Chair-Force 10-10-2009 08:22 PM

how rare is this yellow color?

if its as rare as your last car's paint job, you might want to get extra insurance coverage just for the paint.

97TurboDSM 10-11-2009 12:05 PM

im sorry, what? for some reason i can't read your asshole remarks. go **** yourself.

97TurboDSM 10-17-2009 02:14 PM

driving down to 20squared today to get chipped. Stay tuned.

OWENthatsmyname 10-17-2009 03:02 PM

unitronic?

97TurboDSM 10-18-2009 12:10 AM

yea. funny thing though. I get down there and wait 3 hours for them to find out that the car is already chipped with an APR chip, also has a full turboback exhaust. So, for the time being i'm staying with the APR chip Until I move to a big turbo file from one company or another.
