It is my pleasure to announce that the 09 Sonic Meet is still on for Saturday, April 11th at Noon in Morgantown, PA. There have been a lot of questions floating around pertaining to whether or not this meet is going to happen because of the weather. Reports are showing that the rain will only come in the morning and should be out of the are between 10am and Noon. That should leave us with a day that only gets better as it goes on. So, with that being said, PLEASE pass on the word that this is DEFINITELY still on. I am going to be posting on all the forums I have access to but I encourage each of you to post on your respective forums to make sure everyone knows. Also, PLEASE remember to bring some canned food for our food drive! We are really hoping to surprise the local charity with an enormous amount of canned goods. This meet wouldn't a sucess without all the attendees so I'll be happy to see you all there!

PS. The usual rules/advice applies. NO Douchebaggery, NO burnouts, NO insanely loud music, NO Revving, etc. The local and state police have been made aware of this event by the organizers so they will be watching.

UPDATE: Tomorrow looks better than ever. It should be a good day. I expect everyone to be on their best behavior and go with the flow of things. If you need gas, please pick it up at Wawa since they are nice enough to let us use their whole parking lot. If your car is picky and needs 93, there is a sunoco right down the road. Please be there on time and prepared to leave on time. Five minutes before, I will have a meeting with everyone so we are all on the same page. Although we will do our best to keep everyone together, it would be best if you print out the directions. If you need me to bring a few, pm me before 9AM tomorrow. If you haven't been to this meet before, this will definitely be an exciting time for you. Please don't let that excitement got to your right foot. There will be Burks/Lehigh cops in the center of RT100 as you get off 78. Don't be the one to get pulled over because we will laugh at you and when the pictures get to TST, everyone will laugh at you. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

I want to thank everyone who came out. You all made the trip down there very enjoyable. I am sorry for the slight confusion when leaving but we have a few ideas to ease the flow for next year. Thanks again for making the way down 222 as easy as possible. See you all again next year.
